Quick colon has anti-parasitic herbs, and is a very good product for cleansing the bowel of unwanted critters. I don't know if this fits your situation but For constipation, dietary -cut down on carbs and processed foods, grains. If he can swallow a pill, cascara sagrada capsule is good or magnesium citrate in capsule or liquid, but not sure of the dose for 12 yr old, probably depends on his weight. Constipation can be a sign of magnesium deficiency. The body uses up magnesium and other minerals rapidly when we eat a lot of carbs and sugars and 85% of americans are deficient in magnesium. I haven't seen Dr. Schulze's Intestinal Formulas ingredients but I do know that he studied under Dr. Christopher before starting his company so it wouldn't be surprising if they are similar.
