Is this approved for eating? I don't see anything on the label as if it is a food product ... Why doesn't the bottle have a nutritional facts label?

This is a food based spray used for coating waffle makers before adding the batter. It's a great product that some of the major hotel chains also use. I've been using it since I discovered it at one of them.

What are the ingredients? And is silicone edible if it's among them?

Water, silicone, polysorbate 80, propylene glycol, ethyl and propyl paraben (preservative), sodium benzoate (preservative), sodium lauryl sulfate.

Is this a spray to be used with each waffle or is it more of a maintenance type product?

You don’t use it for each waffle. As a matter of fact, I got my a$$ handed to me by a very grouchy hotel employee who said THEY spray it on only three times during the whole breakfast service. I never use it when at a hotel, and it never had a waffle stick.

Does this spray expire?

It has an expiration date 2 years out. It did NOT work for me on a new waffle iron or my old waffle iron. It made a mess of both waffle makers. I went back to using corn oil spray. I feel ripped off by the price for a product that did not work.
