The Gero cun case feels like thick steel but it not terribly heavy. It comes with a lock and two keys. It also comes with a cable that allows you to attach it to just about anything. You could use it to keep your fire arm locked in your car and then lock it to something secure in your hotel room. That you choose to protect really just depends on the size. You could easily keep passports, extra cash, travelers checks, credit cards and the like. It does also hold some pill bottles which I know is a growing need. It is padded inside to keep things from shifting. You could take the padding out. Its a flat black color except for the name and lock. The product information says it conforms to TSA airline firearm standards. I was very happy with what I could store inside. I really like the fact that its portable yet you can secure it to something too.I received this product at a discount in exchange for my honest and unbiased review.

The keys and cable were inside the box, but it did take some careful prying of the box to get it to open. It was crushed shut! However, once I was able to get the keys, I tried them and guess what? Yiep! The keys get stuck when you lock it. They will not come out! What’s the point if I can’t remove the keys once it is locked? Returned it and will not be purchasing another one of these.

Other than coming slightly crushed and having to pry it open to get to the keys and cable arrived undented and whole.But down to the review, I bought this hoping it would fit my Springfeild Armory XD45 service modle, I have had some issues with others I have looked and purchased that tho say it will fit either don't fit or dont hold the extra mag like i wanted. and being able to put it in my bag to cary it I didn't want it to be to thick, but still able to hold it.This fits the gun itself and with a bit proper placement will hold 2 spare mags as well. Other than being crushed in transit and needing some help to be opened, in this case I am thinking only because it was shipped unlocked and not really in more than a white shipping envelop and it's own box. It's better than I had expected, it dose meet tsa requirements and is a sturdy made box.

4 stars only because there is no handle. But the case is wonderful. No questioning its durability. Tsa approved. What more can i ask.. and its fits my Taurus Millennium PT111 G2 perfectly. Thanks

Good sturdy case. Mine came a little scratched and not exactly as pictured. But I'm pleased with the lock box. Just flew with it packed with a PPS and a box of ammo. No issues at all.

I can't really say anything about the functionality of this as the top was pushed into the bottom when I received it. I assume the keys were inside, but because it was bent, I could not open. Lousy quality control anyway.

Easy fits my Smith and Wesson M&P Shield and two clips. Could probably hold two pistols of the same size if placed inside opposing one another. Box is fairly light weight metal, locking mechanism works well, and it's stylish. It's not going to safeguard your handgun from a thief because even if it was locked up with the included cable, the box is flimsy enough that it could be pried open fairly easily. But, it's a great case to keep honest people from handling your gun. If you had children, it would work to keep it safe from them as well. I would definitely recommend for anyone that just doesn't want their gun lying around getting into the wrong hands.

I needed a case to store my handgun in my truck under the seat. This case is perfect. Unless a thief is carrying around bolt cutters for a smash and grab job, the cable that comes with the case should be just fine for keeping the case in the truck. The quality is great. It's a heavy little case for it's size, which is what you want. The padding inside does a great job of protecting valuable items. It can easily hold my compact carry plus two extended magazines. Great product, highly recommended.
