If you have a desk job, you need this
My husband and I have been using these for the last 10 years or so. We both spend way too many hours at a desk and this is one of several things we do to counteract the negative effects of so much sitting. If you use it regularly, it will help you have better posture, not feel so tight in the shoulders and neck- and for my husband, it's reduced his tension headaches significantly.

Works great for improving posture.
Works great. I have a pain clinic and I recommend these to my clients who have posture issues. I use them myself to maintain my excellent posture. just make sure that it's the right size and not too loose or too tight.

I feel like the medium original is a good starting brace for ...
I didn't know which ones to get because I wanted one for myself and one for my daughter so that we could do the exercises together.I got the Original medium posture brace for her, and I got the Large plus one for me. The plus means that the resistance of the surgicaltubing that is used to create the product, is greater. I tried out my daughter's brace and my own and I could barely use the plus one. I'mjust not strong enough. I consider myself to be a fairly strong woman. So unless you have been lifting weights and you are a really strongwoman, I would suggest not getting the plus strength. Depending on your shoulder width and shirt size, you can either get a medium or alarge original strength one. I usually wear a large size shirt, but as I've gotten older, my torso is getting smaller. So, I feel like the mediumoriginal is a good starting brace for me. I would guess that the large original brace would be a little easier to use and offer less resistance tome. The trick to making these braces successful, is getting the brace that is the right beginning size for you, and you might have to buy morethan one of the braces in order to figure that out. But, it is worth the money to do that and you can always return one. Or you can order one thatmight be a little on the easier side and another one that you believe will be a bit harder, and then work into it. One thing I really feel strongly thatthe company should do, is make a DVD available with the product so that you can just put on the DVD and do the exercises with the person onthe DVD. Without the DVD, you are looking on the internet, trying to remember what they said to do. And, if you don't have anybody at home todo the exercises with, it can provide a human support feeling to you exercise routine. You don't feel so alone. PostureMedic------Please create thisDVD for your customers!! We need this! Great product for helping posture problems, but it has to be put to use by the one buying it. If there is NOTHING stopping the buyer from getting in there and doing the exercises, then you will have greater success! A DVD will make it so much more likely that the buyer will get in there and use the product.

Falls apart after 4 months of light use - Insulting response from the president of the company
TLDR: Would not purchase this product unless you are okay with paying $14 shipping every time a replacement is needed.I initially purchased this product in June of 23, and it started to fall apart after a few months of use. The foam handles are extremely delicate and have zero reinforcement. I contacted the company and asked for a replacement, and they sent one without hesitation. However, after another few months, I ran into the exact same issue. I only use this to do pull aparts (as described in the manual) a few times a week when my back is aching at work.Upon contacting the company regarding another replacement, my message was forwarded to the president of the company when I questioned why they were wanting me to pay $14 to ship a product that clearly has a defect and a supposed 'lifetime warranty'. I will post the response I received below - I am not sure why he is making references to rubber, as the issue I am having is with the foam handles. They clearly have zero plans to improve the product or even investigate the issue, and I am blown away at such a response directly from the president regarding such a simple inquiry.Note: my original review was removed, I think for including the email addresses and names of the owner, hence the redaction:Please see below from the President.Hey ---, he bought the first one in June and it lasted until November, then we sent him a new one and it's lasted till now February. Our replacement policy takes consideration for general wear and tear and we are happy to replace his unit, but he MUST pay the shipping fee. Or he can swing by the office and we will give it to him. Furthermore, I have to buy new sneakers every 3 months, and new tires for my car every other year. All rubber products eventually wear out, and instead of us insisting that they go buy a new one at full retail, like I have to with my sneakers, tires, and every single other product that I have ever purchased. We are willing to eat the cost of the product but he must pay for shipping. Our replacement policy is unheard of in any category and at this point, if it is not good enough, then he will have to purchase a brand new one from Amazon, our website, or one of our thousands of chiropractors that offer the product. Additionally, we have been in operations for 12 years now, sold over 500,000 units and this is the ONLY person burning through these products so fast. My question is what is he doing with the product other than what is recommended? Since there's no way for us to ensure proper use, again, we are happy to send a replacement but he must pay the shipping fee. Period. Have a nice day.

It does help posture but hurts to wear it
I can tell this is helping me keep my back straight but it is so darn painful under the arms that I can't wear it for very long. I'm not giving up yet, I will try it for a few days and see if it gets better. If it doesn't I am going to try a different one. I will report back when I have given it a fair chance, but right now...OUCHAfter giving it a chance it was just too painful to wear so I am returning it and getting a fabric one with padding under the arms.
