Nice blade, terrible handle

The wood handle on this knife had to be sanded down to match the plastic ferrule. Without that fix, this knife would hurt your fingers as the edge of the wood is fairly sharp and you can't hold the knife effectively without feeling that edge. But after shaping the handle, it's ok. Nice blade, keeps an edge, good length and shape.

Even for the price this is a very poor quality knife. It is virtually impossible to get a good edge on it and it dulls very rapidly. I thought for $20 what do I have to lose? Well, $20 I suppose. I would not purchase again not even for someone I don't like.
