The price of convenience is apparently poor craftsman and cheap materials
I was pretty disappointed with this product. While the ottoman/base is relatively sturdy, it's not very comfortable, and I always feel like I'm being pushed off the thing.Assembly is fairly straightforward, but the only thing holding on the back and the arms are two pins...it's rather flimsy, and as others noted, it doesn't hold up to stress.The storage portion is great, but I'm sure that is the reason the seat is so uncomfortable.As far as the fabric? My cat (with a bit of help from my seven year old) had the fabric destroyed inside two days. It's very, very cheap. We have a couch with similar looking fabric, and it's survived for years.I'm glad I decided to buy a single section to start with. A $200 lesson is far better than a $1200 lesson.

You have to pay the return shipping cost!
Arm was wobbly. Asked for a return and am forced to pay for return shipping….. on a damaged item.

More comfortable than my $1200 flexsteel recliner!
The grey is a mid grey, not light, not charcoal, I think it’s the perfect grey IMO. It seems to fit me well, I’m 5’ 4” 175 lbs. hubby is 6’ 3” and he said it was comfortable too. If this lasts as long as as my $1200 flexsteel, 1.5 years, then it was worth it!!! But I bought it for grandkids play room/formal living room (not formal) along with the sectional. So this won’t be our everyday adult chair. I can’t speak to longevity yet. But so far we love it!
