Great for door hinges
Using these on new matte black hinges and pins, but applying with a soft cotton cosmetic round rather than attempting to squeeze straight from the bottle on to the hinges, which would waste a ton of fluid and cost a ton of money. This approach is working well and my hinges are not soaked in the fluid so not showing any whitening of the fluid later as it dries, which is a complaint in other reviews. You don't need much, it is a DRY lubricant so it is supposed to dry out on you after applied. It still does its job without the jelly stuff all over your hinges. It chemically breaks the friction that causes the squeaks. Highly recommend.

Amazing! Just a little and it go!
This stuff is amazing especially on stripped screws or things that have been out in the elements and you want to unscrew it. We had an old metal arbor to take down. The screws were rusted and just in - drop some on and it so helped us to unscrew all the sides. We were able to take it down with ease. Works great on squeaky door hinges too.

Excellent lubricant and preservative
I have a business sharpening knives, swords, plane iron, chisels, etc. So I see literally hundreds of tools a month. Many of them, such as old pocket knives, are in sore need of cleaning and lubrication. With its teflon ingredient, this lubricant is very effective. I use it primarily on the hinge pin of pocket knives. It is also an excellent preservative and prevents corrosion of older, carbon steel collector's knives. This particular formula is new; it contains a ceramic additive which, I presume, provides added protection for wear and friction. In any event, I have had more than satisfactory service from this product for several years now and look forward to continued service with the new formula.

great all purpose lubricant for tools, including power tools
I've been using this brand and type of lubricant for many years. A man that helps in my yard and borrowed it a couple of times to reduce friction in tools he was using reported he's not found anything that works better and specifically asked about the brand and name, then later, where to buy it since he couldn't find it in stores in our area. So, buy it here from Amazon and give it a whirl.

Its not Teflon but its boron nitride - possibly better
The BN on the bottle means boron nitride. It appears to be a volatile organic carrier liquid with very tiny boron nitride particles. When the volitale liquid mostly evaporates/dissappears, the boron nitride seems to act as a mostly dry lubricant. It is excellent for skate board bearings so far.

Great product, no so great packaging.
I used this product on my wheelchair axles and it worked great. Unfortunately, after applying it to the first wheel, I screwed the top on and it would not open again, regardless of how I tried. I do know how to open safety caps and since I use a wheelchair, I have very strong hands. Not to be outdone, I poked a hole in it and finished the job that way. I was hoping to carry it with me.

Great stuff.
I use the aerosol version on my motorcycle chain when I'm home. But on trips, to save space, I carry this little bottle, and waxing my chain is pretty easy. A little goes a long way. This little 2-oz bottle is probably enough to lube your chain 20 times or so. The liquid is very thin and penetrates well. Then the carrier evaporates off and leaves the lubricant in place. You will get some dripping, though, so pick a place for chain maintenance that won't mind spillage on the ground. For more reviews of this stuff, try Web Bike World.I also use it around the house for a variety of lubricating jobs.
