So, to start, I received a discounted item for this review. However, I have bought 2 other wallets From Recycled Firefighter's main site so that shouldn't bare too much on this review.As previously stated, I have purchased two wallets before purchasing my black one from Amazon. I own two other Sergeant wallets and they are fantastic. No wear or tear or signs of use for that matter and I think I'm just under a year in of carry. Normally my wallets are already seeing signs of wear so this was exciting to me.I've never gotten a bad item from Jake (I know his name thanks to Instagram) and I don't think he'd ever send out something that was imperfect. I love how unique these wallets are and if you buy from his site, recycledfirefighter.com, he will even email you with the location where your fire hose gear came from which I think added a uniqueness to the experience.As far as the wallet goes, it holds a surprising amount of cards and cash. Stuff as much cash as you want in that money clip, it never gets loose. I've used a lot of different wallets over my time everything from card holders to money clips. I've also tried a lot of different brands from cheap ones to Tumi. I just could never find one that was minimalist enough and could still carry cash. This Recycled Fighter wallet is perfect for anyone looking to hold probably up to 6-8 cards and also cash. I'll be honest but I didn't really buy this wallet because it is made of recycled firefighter hose but I just thought the design was one of the better ones I had seen lately. However, after having used for several months now, I think I've found my wallet for the future. The wallet is built very well and you can tell the attention to detail is there with the stitching. I put about 7 cards in the wallet and it is a tight fit but after a few months, it hasn't stretched out at all! The part that I wasn't sure I would like is the elastic strap for cash but it works great. You only need to fold cash bills into thirds and the bills fit perfectly. I actually get way more comments on this wallet when I take it out than any of my previous wallets. Overall a great EDC wallet which takes up so little room in your pocket!

I did receive a discounted item for this review, however, this is my 2nd Sergent Front Pocket Wallet from Recycled Firefighter. I got the 1st one a few months ago to replace my traditional leather billfold. It had become overstuffed with every kind of card there is; credit, gift, membership, loyalty, etc. I had to start pulling it out of my back pocket whenever I sat down because it HURT. Problem was, there were plenty of times when I'd forget to put it back. So in looking to minimize I discovered Recycle Firefighters Sergent wallet. And have been super happy with the purchase. It's slim. Goes right into my pocket with no fuss. And best of all, I don't feel it.But it is a minimalist wallet, so I had to get down to the basics of what I needed to carry. And that's why I ended up getting a 2nd. The 1st carries my ID, credit, and debit cards. The 2nd holds insurance, membership, and my Starbucks gift card (hard to leave home without that one). One goes in my left front pocket, and the other in my right.As for their construction, they are strong, sturdy and tough! Both of mine are the leather wallets. The 1st is the brown leather, and the 2nd the coyote. The leather is snug for both, with the brown being a little more pliable. I can put 6 cards in it, with just enough tensions that it isn't super difficult to pull them out. The coyote, I can only get 4, but if I keep working it in, I think I can get the leather to loosen enough to get one more card in.So even though I got a discount for this review, I was still planning on buying my 2nd wallet anyway. I highly recommend it. But, if you know you're going to carry more than 6 cards, I recommend going with Recycled Firefighters Rookie Wallet.

The Recycled Firefighter wallet is a great choice for guys (or gals) who want functionality and style. The black firehose and Multicam Black look great together and the black RF logo tag is the cherry on top of a tough, sleek, and tactical cake. The money strap is great, but it took me a second to figure out how to store the cash, and after analyzing the photos I figured that you fold the currency into thirds. The card holster is alright, I find that it can hold 8 cards as advertised, but it takes some effort to extract them all. After carrying the maximum capacity of cards for some time I found that the firehose stretched and then when i wanted to hold less than 6 cards they tended to just slide out. The wallet really disappears in my back pocket (Yes, I know it is a front pocket wallet, but I do what I want.) and I almost forget it's there. The construction is over-the-top. Double stitching everywhere, so you know its won't fail you. Overall, The Recycled Firefighter Sergeant is a awesome wallet worth the money.

I love it for the minimalist wallet it's intended to be. I've seen some complaints about it being overstuffed and stretching out of shape. I didn't buy it for that purpose. It's not my main, "George Coztanza" wallet stuffed to the gills that gives me back problems. If I have to bring a lot of stuff I use a bigger wallet. It's a great daypack daily wallet. Nothing performs well if you overload it. This wallet is awesome. Plus I have noticed that the wallet returns to its original shape once empty for a little bit
