Good coffee, great smell, non-flavored taste
Only had one cup so far, so will probably need to update once I've finished the bag:1. Smell of the beans was fantastic. Strong Hazelnut smell. Unfortunately, less so with the brewed coffee. And didn't really taste hazelnut once drinking it.2. That being said, it was a smooth, non-bitter, coffee I enjoyed a lot. Just not the flavored coffee I was hoping for.

Incredible mild nutty flavor and perfect roast; reminiscent of sitting outside in a cafe in Italy!
As a diehard coffee aficionado, this is probably the best Hazelnut coffee I’ve ever tasted. It has a very mild nutty taste and not really a strong hazelnut flavor which sometimes can taste too artificial. The medium roast is perfectly balanced: not too watery and light and not the bitterness of a dark roast. I bought the hazelnut beans, ground them and used a French Press; tasted like a perfect cup of coffee I once had sitting outside in a cafe in Italy years ago.I had never heard of this company before and was hesitant to buy, but so glad I did!

No hazelnut flavor, too bitter. Personal preference.
I'm hesitant to give a negative review regarding something so personal as tastes preferences. With that caveat, I found this coffee to be bitter, not hazelnut flavored as advertised and seemed overly oiled. So take this with a grain of salt, other than it not having any hazelnut flavor, but this coffee wasn't for me, you may like it. On the plus side, it's a good quantity for the price.

Excellent pour over coffee!!
I love pour over coffee and I bought coffee beans so I could try fresh ground pour over coffee and this particular coffee tastes AMAZING!! I'm sure it's just as good made with a coffee maker. You should definitely give this coffee a try!! The aroma when you open the vacuum sealed bag is also amazing. It was incredibly fresh! The scent of hazelnut coffee filled my house as I ground my coffee to make my first pot of pour over coffee and lasted for HOURS!! It's definitely on the pricier side but it's worth it to treat yourself to amazing fresh, aromatic, and flavourful coffee! I highly recommend this coffee for all of the coffee lovers out there!!

Bad decision
When I got the bag, I saw that the beans were covered in some kind of grease or oil. After research I found that it’s not the end of the world, they just spoil faster. After opening the bag, I was hit with the strongest sickly, artificial, sweet, smell. It was so strong I felt instantly sick to my stomach. I have a $500 Breville espresso machine and was very nervous to try this coffee because I didn’t want the oil to clog the machine or tamper with the flavor of future cups. It didn’t clog but I’m furious because the machine choked when brewing every time. The little coffee I did get out of it, smelled like carbon. I gave up trying to get it to work because I got so nauseous. I am pretty sure the beans have extra flavoring, like syrups or flavored oils, sprinkled on the beans. I am very unhappy because the tasting notes on the bag are not actually tasting notes, they are flavorings that are added to the beans. This coffee sounded too good to be true.
