Great Value!
I just received my Avid Power 18pcs 1/2-inch Drive Impact Socket Set today. It arrived in two days from placing the order in perfect shape. Everything is as advertised. I will be using them with my Avid impact wrench which I have been very impressed with. The bottom line is that Avid is the real deal and delivers a quality product at half the price of the big names. I was itching to try the sockets and I tested them on a old rusty Chevy truck. The wrench and sockets had no problem breaking off the lug nuts on a old Chevy Blazer. The included three extensions are a great added feature of this product. I pull a camper trailer a lot of the summer and these two items will be a must have for roadside emergencies and for the nightly raising of the camper jacks. I definitely plan on purchasing Avid products due to their quality and performance. Folks, at this price you are getting a great value.

Great set of sockets, great value.
I bought these along with a 20 volt impact driver for a 4 wheel strut replacement on my 2011 RS Camaro. I was impressed by the durability and strength of these sockets. They performed flawlessly with only minor scratches from rolling around on my concrete driveway. I could care less about their appearance though as long as they do the job which they did very well at a fraction of the price of a set of name brand impact sockets.

Passed initial trial by fire with flying colors.
I like everything about this set of metric impact sockets (and included extensions). A great molded plastic case for starters. Each socket marked in two formats for easy reading. The tools seem very well designed and the finish is high quality. The socket/extension used initially showed not a mark after several minutes of constant pounding from an impact wrench to remove the front bumper of a 1989 Ford F250 4x4 (most certainly never removed in the last 33 years). I expect these to be an appreciated heirloom used by my son and grandson (at least!).
