Each sheet yields four half protective soles for a cowboy boot size 11D, therefore a bargain for the price. The thickness seems to accurate at 1.2 mm. For dress shoes or women’s shoes you may want less thickness because de protective sole ,once attached, increases the profile of the whole sole a bit. I have glued the pieces to the boots with Barge All Purpose Cement ($9.00) so the repair has cost me around 10 dollars (maybe less if I consider that I have a substancial amount of glue left). If I take these boots to the shop the repair will be 40 or up. Now, if you are not on a budget take it to the shop. The probability of making a mess is “medium to high” if you are not well versed in handyman’s aptitudes :)This evening I will take the boots for a a first walk and I will report if I come back with the soles or without them.Update: The glue holds, the rubber is sturdy and adds traction to the step. 5 stars.

Purchased the thin version for shoes and sneakers. Don't be fooled, nice and durable. Price going up fast. Increased by $1.45 in a month.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:works perfectly to extend the life of a couple of old pairs of crocs I like to putz around the house in. Saved me from tossing some shoes that were otherwise still in good shape.

My fault; I made an assumption, based on previous order if a like item. This one has no adhesion like an order I made of smaller ones. My fault, I made an assumption that it would have a pull-off back and then I would stick it to the shoes. I purchased this item because reviews and description mentioned it would make the shoe soles a bit more quiet; I have nephropathy and foot drop and I sound somewhat like a galloping horse when I walk. It looks sturdy, a bit of effort to cut, seems sturdy; I'll see after I purchase some adhesive. Can't return it as I have already cut it.

resoled some addidas ultraboost with this. it's around same thickness but seems a little softer, overall it's suitable to give a little more life to the shoes which are really comfortable and broken in, hence why i chose to resole.

I used this sole for a cosplay in wear I had to create covers for a tabi shoe. Since tabi soles are more difficult to find, I had to create my own. This sole was easy to cut and glue, very durable, flexible, and comfortable to wear. I would not recommend this for heavy duty shoes since it is on the thinner side but it suited my needs perfectly. I will be using this sole for future cosplays.

I used these to replace the bottom of a pair of heels that had a worn grip. The listing says non-slip but as soon as I stepped onto a smooth surface that had a bit of moisture on it I almost twisted my ankle trying to avoid falling! I would not recommend this as a grip replacement for any shoe especially a heel or shoe that you will be wearing anywhere aside from carpet!

Its large enough to cover 2 pair of shoes/boots.Its 1.2 mm thin so it doesnt show. Also its got small indentation to the grip.No need to send back side. Back side is rough surface so its perfect for glue to attach.
