Braun Series 5 5040s Shaver with Flex MotionTec Travel Pouch

I replaced my 15 year old Braun with this one, so it was a noticeable change for the better. I get a clean shave without having to go over the skin more than once or twice. Everything works well, and it seems to be built well. I recharge it once a week and don’t notice any battery drain or decrease in performance at the end of the week.

This shaver makes quick work of stubble, leave a nice close shave, has a battery that can last weeks, and doesn't pinch or pull as it cuts. I also really like that it doesn't have the complex new cleaning station with liquid cleaner that you've got to keep paying to refill. This is just a very effective razor that does it's job really well.

This is my third Braun, and a replacement for an older Series 3 that I now take when I travel. Have owned the series 5 for about six months now. Does a good job of cutting hair cleanly, even after I go a few days without shaving. Cleaning system works well. I'm hoping it proves as dependable as my prior Brauns. Only gripe is that the pop-up straight edged sideburn trimmer lift extends 90 degrees from the shaver body. I must turn the shaver at an awkward angle to trim. A 45 degree angle would be better. Improvement opportunity, but not a deal killer.

Yes it does work. But seeing as the Braun manufactures do not produce the series 5 shavers anymore, it is not up to par. You can tell the craftsmanship is poor and lacking detail, therefore their 4 star rating needs to be brought down to a 3.5. It's obvious that the company gave licensing rights to an Asian company for this shaver and overall I would not buy it again.

i love it, it shave very close and it dose not irritate my sensitive face at all and is fast with low noise.

This is my second one of Braun 5 series, I have used the old one for 15 years. It still works great!The new one shaves great, I definitely recommend.

The foils are EXTREMELY fragile - I have had the razor for less than a year and 2 foils have been damaged (DO NOT SHAVE WITH A DAMAGED FOIL!!!!!!!). At $30.00 a pop - changing foils can get rather expensive. The only decent shave I could get was using it wet....... At $100+ this razor is a rather bad investment.

Works greatly. Nice pivot, close shave. Never hurt my husband's sensitive skin.

Very pleased with this upgraded design of Braun's lower to mid-price model. Particularly impressed with the cutting head which is designed in such a way that beard clippings fall away from rather than clog up the cutter block.

A great German made product.Smooth, comfortable shaves.Worth it.

購入から早６年以上経過しましたが、故障すること無く問題無く使用しております。バッテリーも一度の充電で１ヶ月位使用できます。バッテリー残少しのサイン音もあり、非常に使いやすいです。費用対効果を勘案すると良い買い物だったと思います。

Can't beat this shaver. Best quality and super price. Gives a close, comfortable shave.

期待したほどでもない性能で、深剃りが必ずしもできず、20年以上もブラウンを使い続けているがこれが一番失望かな。。。
