Great value, read and clear codes
Invaluable peice of equipment for a modern (OBDII) vehicle, I believe 1996 model year and up have this system across all makes and models. I had a check engine light on my 2003 Ford Ranger, I was able to plug the scanner in, turn the key over(not on) and pull 2 codes in a matter of seconds. One was “intake manifold runner flaps stuck open” ($17 part), the other was a “small evap leak”, most likely a failing gas cap ($10 part). It’s nice that the display doesn’t only give you a code (P1xxx) but these descriptions as well, they are very useful to help you pinpoint the problem without endlessly pouring over search engine results and trying to unsure the information directly pertains to the vehicle you’re servicing. It also delivers live on board diagnostic data like throttle position, air fuel ratio, spark advancement and more. Worth the money.

easy cheap and reliable
Works great, easy to hook up scan and read. It really helped to identify I really had a bad fuel sensor on my Dodge Hell cat. Thank God I had it still under extended warranty for the repairs. I bought two One for me and another for my grandson.

Great value and very easy to use.
Worked like a charm to diagnose and clear the Check Engine Light codes on my 2001 Honda CRV.Very easy to use and intuitive menu system. This one is SO much better than the $7 OBDII "dongles" that connect to a smartphone app by bluetooth. Those are a waste of money IMO, I've had 3 of them and they all quit working after just 1 or 2 uses. This unit was 1/3 less expensive than comparable units at my local auto parts stores - or even at Harbor Freight.Definitely worth the money.

Solid Basic Scanner, but Limited Compared to High-End Options
Picked up the ANCEL AD310 Classic Enhanced OBD II Scanner, and for the price, it’s definitely solid. Reads codes quickly and works well for general diagnostics on most vehicles. It’s a reliable tool for basic troubleshooting or clearing codes. That said, I’ve noticed that more expensive scanners tend to pick up additional manufacturer-specific or advanced data points that this one doesn’t catch. So while it’s great for simple needs, it’s not quite on the same level as the premium models when it comes to deeper system scans.Still a strong budget-friendly option for everyday use or quick checks.

This is the handiest little tool when diagnosing your vehicle!!
This little tool is absolutely AMAZING!! It’s easy to use and gives you readings within seconds! I wish I would have bought it sooner! I was able to finally diagnose my car without having to take it to a mechanic and wait for days to hear back. This reader tells me everything I need to know. I also truly appreciate the live data, without it, I wouldn’t have found out what was bad.

Fantastic product
Works great!! I have been using this for a couple of years now and it’s saved me trips to auto zone to get my codes read. Just plug it in with the car on and you’re good to go. Easy to use and if you don’t know the code it gives then just google it.

It Works On Motorcycles Too
Bought this along with an adapter to reset stubborn codes on an Indian Challenger.Having the codes is great to diagnose and correct a Check Engine light. Even better is the ability to reset / clear the code without "key / run cycles" - especially around Inspection time. This one does the trick just fine.So far everything works as advertised. It's been quite effective and didn't cost an arm and a leg.Five stars!
