Q: Any buzz from this device? I have a cheaper BT receiver and the power supply causes a buzz through my stereo, might replace with this.

Have this attached to very good amplifier. Clear signal, no buzz. Had occasional drop out when streaming from my Samsung phone to it but that's at a range of about 5m with internal wall and wooden door in the way.

Q: Can you delete stored bluetooth connections? We want to use in a Village Hall and don't want a previous user to re-connect automatically.

No, this is a Bluetooth receiver not a network streamer. Try something like the iFi Zen Stream

If you wish to connect high-quality headphones I would use the optical out port. I can’t verify this as I only use the rca out ports to connect to amplified loudspeakers. I purchased this unit to provide long range reception to playback internet streaming music via Bluetooth from an iPhone and iPad in our local community hall. Our previous Bluerooth receiver had a range of approx 6 m and frequently distorted the sound or disconnected if you moved around. This unit has. range (without solid walls) of over 20 m, the sound quality is excellent with no restriction on moving about the room.
