My Toto toilets, after about 5 years of operation, ran into a problem where either flush valve would randomly stick open. I tore down the originals and made sure there was nothing preventing parts from moving, since the water at my house has a high hardness and tends to cake mineral deposits onto things. That did nothing to repair the original Toto parts. Rather than spending big money on something that may fail again in 5 years, I opted for the Teaayako version. Once adjusted to match my toilet, they installed just like the original and function flawlessly. My new flush valves haven't stuck even once since replacing with these.

This is a replacement for my THU224 for my old Aquia Toto toilet.Having read a ton of the reviews I was prepared to have to remove the tank, I did buy a replacement gasket, and I knew to tighten down the nut on the bottom very, very well.I also purchased replacement buttons, but in the end you can see I was able to put screws in place and I’ll be returning the buttons and saving $10.I was prepared to buy a new tube to better place the fill tube but I forgot to take it to the hardware store to get the right size. Tomorrow.I did NOT have to replace the bolts holding down the tank, which is good because with my toilet design that would have been a nightmare. I did, however, take the opportunity to replace the rubber gasket on those.I would give 5 stars except there were literally ZERO instructions enclosed. No, I didn’t get a used/returned one. There were just no instructions. So thanks to others who uploaded the photo of their instructions (which were not 100% correct for either them or me, but it was enough that I could figure things out).Also…. Note that this brand has a feature where you can turn the main column some so I was able to align the blue and yellow buttons perfectly. I didn’t have to do funky just-barely-touching things like I saw in other reviews and perhaps prior reviews on this product (they all blended in my mind eventually, you know?).

Did a video search to see what's needed to fix the flushing issue with the our toilet. Found the product on Amazon and worked perfectly. Love it when things work out the way they should. Good description and instructions on how to install.

We have a 2017 Toto model that has been decommissioned for its leaky flush. We’ve looked high and low for replacements and this was the first one to work. We got a professional to install it and it took about 15 minutes total. It works beautiful and we no longer have to hear our flush leak constantly. 10/10 recommend.

Works perfectly! Simple repair. Need small adjustable wrench, large flat head screwdriver, and large plumbing pliers.

Like other reviewers experienced, this piece was difficult to install and then leaked after installation. After twisting it back and forth trying to find the best position in which to install it, I installed it and then discovered that I had no good way to attach the fill line. I pulled it out and pulled the top part off and reinstalled it in the opposite position. This allowed me to install it in a better position for the fill line. It still had to be installed at a slight angle to the flush buttons but it still worked. After putting it all back together and trying it out, I discovered the toilet always seemed to be slightly running. I went back and read the reviews again and decided that it was probably that same gasket they they had experience leaking. I pulled it all apart again and REALLY tightened the plastic nut on the bottom. It worked! No more leaking/running.

Not quite as nice as the original, the overflow tube needs to be sideways at 45º otherwise it hits hither the tank (which is slim) or the tank mounting nuts. Instructions included but very limited.Also, it does NOT come with the tank to bowl gasket, so you need to buy it separately (the part is 9BU062E).
