Shocked at how awesome it is!
I just used this for the first time today, but if I need to update this review later I definitely will. (Edit: Update below!)This thing is way more amazing than I thought it would be. I haven't yet used the body brush, but the face brush is really good. For reference I have combination, extremely sensitive skin that has dry patches on my cheeks and around my nostrils. After using this on the "sensitive" setting, my skin was noticeably smoother - especially in the areas where I tend to be dry. I was concerned about using a retin A lotion afterward, as it usually stings a lot if I mechanically exfoliate my skin before using it, but it wasn't uncomfortable at all. It was as though the brush took off all the dead skin and oils, but didn't penetrate deep enough to create fissures. Also, the brush easily conforms to the curves around my face and nose, and it's easy to get in little places like the grooves around my nostrils. And boy, does this thing penetrate. It vibrates pretty hard (it feels weird around my nose/eyes, but is in no way uncomfortable), and makes me feel like it's really cleaning a lot deeper than my hands would normally get by themselves. Just running my hands over my face prior to putting moisturizer on makes me a believer. I'm really excited to see how my skin looks after using this once a day for a week or so.The body is easy to hold when your hands are soapy or damp (it's rubberized, so it would stain if you got something like lip pigment on it probably), and there is no metal contact for charging - it just lays in the cradle and charges wirelessly so there's no worry of corrosion. It tends to splatter a little (not a lot), but almost all brushes like this do. If I'm wearing something I don't want to get sprinkles of water on, I just lay a towel over my chest.---Update:I've had this for a little more than a week now, and have used it once a day since I received it. I really like this brush - my skin feels clean and smooth after I use it, and after a week of use my skin is definitely smoother. It removes makeup really, really well when used with a gentle face wash. The skin on my face also feels slightly firmer after use (not tight, but bouncier). As for the body brush, I didn't notice that it did anything at all for my arms/legs, but it sure felt really nice - particularly on the bottom of my feet. Some tips:- Don't start on your forehead. The brush has a lot of water in it at the beginning, and whatever soap you're using will run down into your eyes. Start at a cheek and work your way upwards. I do right cheek, left cheek, nose/chin, forehead, throat, and chest, switching each time the 20 second timer beeps.- If you use it to remove makeup, wash the brush after use with a mild soap (like Dial) to get all the makeup out of it. It won't rinse out easily without soap. I just put some on the brush and scrub it against the palm of my head while the brush is on.- Use the body brush on the bottom of your feet. I really thought it would tickle, but it feels really nice.

Incredible value for the price, makes skin feel wonderful!
I've been wanting to purchase a facial cleansing brush for some time now, but couldn't bring myself to shell out hundreds of dollars for one when I had no idea how it would work, whether I would like it, etc. I hopped on Amazon and found several lower priced options and chose this one from the many on offered - all about the same price. I've used this several times now, and I really can tell the difference in my skin already, vs washing by hand. The cleansing brush comes with two heads - one for face and one for body. At first I thought the face brush was going to be ineffective because it is very soft, but now I've come to realize that it is the sonic action that does the heavy lifting, saving the microscopic scratching that occurs on the outer layer of skin when using coarse or "exfoliating" heads. Just after a few uses, my skin has become softer to the touch, as if I had been exfoliating. It is rechargeable, so no need to mess with batteries or other nonsense. It sits in a nice cradle, which has a plugin adapter. So you can remove the adapter and place it on your countertop without the wire if esthetics are important to you. It has multiple speeds and a timer for each setting. It really is more than I expected for the price, and I am very pleasantly surprised.I can not speak to the longevity of this cleansing brush, as I've only just received it this week and used it a handful of times, but thus far I LOVE it, and am happy that I found it on Amazon. At $40 I consider it a steal, even if it only lasts a year, as I've ready many reviews of "name brand" versions dying after 12-18 months of use and they are hundreds of dollars a pop. I will be purchasing the additional brush heads ($20) so I have some other options, but for the price, the two heads that come with this still makes it great value. The item was shipped and received as scheduled/expected (I have Prime). I definitely recommend!Oh: DUDES - your wife/girlfriend/spouse/other will LOVE this for Christmas. Make sure you spend a few extra bucks and get the additional heads :-)

Excellent! Tip for charging...
I feel that the brush truly made a difference in how my face feels after cleansing. It's super soft, just right for the face. It really gets all the junk out from pores and gives your face a nice massage in the meantime. The only thing I don't particularly care for is the charging base, because of the way it's designed. If you put your wet brush in the charger, any water will drop down directly into the area where the power cord inserts into the base - not only is this a fire hazard, but can also cause the product to malfunction prematurely. Easy to work around, remove the brush head and make sure the unit is dry before charging. Other than that, it's an excellent alternative to the more expensive brand!
