I hadn't planned on opening one until I actually needed it, but I did. Yes, I was able to fold it up again and get it back in it's bag. It's exactly what I thought it would be; very lightweight, heat reflective, and appears to be water repellent (it's not raining here now or I'd test it). My initial plan was to stow 2 in my work backpack for wind and rain protection, and 2 in my car for the same thing. Now I think I'll be adding one to my race day run kit. This will be easy to run in on those cold miserable windy rainy road running days - better than the old standby garbage bag. At this price, I won't have a problem disposing of it if the weather becomes sunny and warm during the race.

Great for use in a sudden downpour but also great as an emergency blanket for upper body. Very compact and lite.I was in Bali and had to but a cheap poncho for the crazy rain. It was a basic plastic bag and we all sweated to death inside them. Do yourself a favor and get these inexpensive ponchos for emergency or travel to tropical climates. You will be happy you spent the $$.I like this product and have NOT been rewarded or asked to write this review.

In case I need protection from the rain or to keep warm from the elements, this might be a handy thing to pack and all the cars

the teflon carboloxide likes to leak on the skin until tou painted your body with space dust
