I CAN KEEP MY CAT AND GET ANOTHER ONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 2 CAT HOUSE because of this product!
Ok so I wanted a kitten knowing my husband was terribly allergic. He let me get it because he loves me and only because he loves me. My plan was to do everything possible to get rid of the cat allergen. I bought a Hepa Air purifier from Coscto (tall), give kitten a weekly bath, and purchased this product. My plan was to use this product about 2 times a week in addition to the kitten baths. I read several different products and reviews and this product seemed best for what I needed. The first 3 weeks of me having the kitten I kept the air purifier running 24/7 and I gave the kitten weekly baths. My husband would still have itchy burning eyes. Then finally my order of Allerpet for cats arrived. I use the Le Salon Essentials Triple Finger Massage Brush to brush on the Allerget pet. The instructions say to use a wash cloth to rub it on but that is just a complete waste of product. What works is pour Allerget pet in a small bowl and dip the brush in the liquid or just squirt the liquid on the brush. Brush Allerget pet all over the cat. I do it head to toe (excluding eyes, ears, nose and under the paws). I get my cat pretty much completely wet. Not dripping but the fur needs to be wet. It does dry pretty fast (I have a Snow Shoe Chocolate Siamese). Anyway, it worked perfectly and my husband has not had any allergy issues. I even stopped giving baths and just use this 2-3 days a week. PERFECT. Now I will still do baths maybe once every 3-4 weeks so that the cat continues to be used to being totally wet however I will only be doing it so the cat is comfy with baths not to help rid of the allergen issue. Even though I use this product a couple times a week and get my cat wet with it, I still have a pretty full bottle. I’m not saying this Allerpet works 100% as I am still running the Hepa Air purifier 24/7 but with giving my cat a bath once a week and not using Allerpet my husband had issues. Now I’m not bathing and only using Allerpet (with the air purifier) and my husband has had ZERO ALLERGY OUTBREAKS! This product worked for me and my family to the point that we are getting another kitten in 3 months because there are no allergy issues

Really works!
Really works! I am allergic to cats but I put this on my cats about once a month and I can pet and cuddle my cats without an allergy pill.

It Works, But You Have to be Diligent
My husband is allergic to cats, yet because he loves me, he let me get one. I was determined to do everything possible to make the house livable even though we had a cat. We got a FURminator, we bathe the cat about once a week, and I even have 'allergen reducing' cat wipes. I also tried ADS Anti-Allergen Dust Spray 32 oz. on the carpet and that didn't seem to do a bit of good, unfortunately. However, this stuff DID help. Now, it's not a miracle worker - it's not going to magically cure you from cat allergies, but it *will* help. In order for it to be most effective we have to diligently put it on our cat 2-3 times a week (ideal is every other day or so). If it's only once a week, it doesn't seem to do the trick and my husband still sneezes and has a runny nose. Also, I think part of the reason this works so well is because we bathe the cat about once a week and THEN put this stuff on. It didn't seem to be as effective the first time we tried it when we put it on him before giving him a bath, but you are welcome to try that first. One thing that we have started doing as well, is instead of putting this stuff on the cat via a washcloth, we just put it straight on him and rub it in real good. It's supposed to help with dander but rubbing it on with a washcloth never seemed to penetrate the actual skin (where the dander is), so we put it in our hands and rub it directly onto our cat so it gets to his skin. That seems to have helped a lot more doing it that way. Then, we dry him down with a towel and feed him a can of wet food so he knows that after the 'torture' is done, he will be rewarded. That seems to have helped with his tolerating a bath and putting Allerpet on him, because he hardly struggles at all anymore. Yes, he will still give us this "Are you almost done yet?" look, but he puts up with it because he knows he has a treat waiting when we're done.Overall, I think this product is worth a shot if you are trying to reduce cat allergens in your home. Just keep in mind that it's not a quick fix (there is no such thing as a quick fix when it comes to reducing cat allergies!) and you will have to be diligent about frequently applying it if you want it to really work (and brush your cat too!)

I think it works
It seemed to help my husband with his allergies to cats. It smells clean and doesnt make a huge mess trying to put it on the cats so easy to use.

Great product
This product is actually perfect. I put this on two of my cats and I brushed their fur thoroughly. It made there for us so soft and I was later. I was petting them and I didn’t get extremely itchy like I usually do. I love this product and so do my cats
