Suprised it works
Bought this on recommendation from our occupational therapist.Initially little one just used it as a toy...but then learned to use it as a calming activity

A resounding success.
These are excellent for children with anxiety but also beneficial for any small child to help them with their emotions and fears. Their customer service is 5*.Would thoroughly recommend.

Genuinely relaxing, but not sure on production quality or value
I don't consider this as just a toy for children. Honestly, I'm probably not the target market for this, being a 40+yr old male, but I did genuinely buy this for myself, as a kind of pet-proxy for quick wind-down after a busy day at work, not having time to devote to real cat or dog.The company has done a great job with the packaging and it brought a smile to my face unboxing it since its presented as if its a real live animals, with holes punched in the cardboard box to allow your Purrble to 'breathe'. The Purrble itself I'm not sure quite matches or lives up to the product images, its features aren't all that well defined but it has a kind of loveable scruffiness to it.Stroking the purrble really does lower my blood pressure and heartrate and relax me - I've got a fitness wearable (watch) with heartrate sensor and it genuinely shows that simply stroking the purrble does relax me.The noises it makes are very subtle - I thought almost too quiet at first, especially since there is no volume button, but it actually makes you seek out peace and quiet and makes you realise how much noise there can be in your environment and how we're all likely over-stimulated most of the time.I'm not sure how to quantify whether it has actual proveable benefits, but I feel subjectively that it is effective at relaxing and calming you. The price tag feels a little steep but then you can pay £20+ for a scented candle these days so maybe not.I definitely think its worth considering this at least as a relaxation tool for adults and children alike. Its certainly better for you than many of the more 'normal' devices people turn to to destress such as alcohol and smoking - and a lot cheap in the long run too - so it gets a thumbs-up from me.

The anti-christ of comfort
Got uncanny valley from it. It's not plush, held it and it was like an old fluffy sock covering a rock, felt like it would concuss me if it fell. It is all artificial and I feel like it is susceptible to being haunted! There is no comfort in this. The worst part is that this was a gift and I had to pretend to like it.

Good for anxiety
I got this for Christmas for my anxiety. It helps and I find it useful it's small so I can take it outside with me. It doesn't do a lot of things but I definitely think it's worth it if you have anxiety.

Cheap quality & poor design
The purring is comforting, but as someone who is ND I found the noise irritatingly mechanical and a poor quality sound. The build quality is terrible and cheaply made. Three velcro flaps over sound box is poorly designed. One ear is bigger than the other and the back was lumpy and hard to stroke. The Purrble is round and hard, so slips out of grip easily. It is not a toy that you can reach for and cuddle which is what my child wanted to do. Also, when the button is On, any cuddling or movement simply activates the fast beating heart noise, which is stressful and it takes quite a bit of effort and stroking to actually activate the purring. Not a toy for night-time unless button is Off.What a complete rip-off for the price tag! You are better off getting a soft toy that vibrates and can be properly held and cuddled.

Can't Hear It At All
I have mild hearing loss. I can feel the Purrble's heart beat on both settings, but can hear absolutely nothing! This is by no means inclusive.

Did not work for 11 year old anxiety at all
Desperately tried this in hope of some resolution to anxiety. However - it really did not assist at all. The feeling/vibrations are minimal as are the sounds (way less than on the YouTube demos) at times of anxiety highly unlikely to make any impact. Even at times of trying to get my daughter to meditate with it - it made zero impact I’m afraid. Tried desperately to make some in roads with this but sadly I can’t see how it got such rave reviews … disappointed 😞
