This dryer element was easy to install and is working as advertised. It has only been in service for less than 1 month so if it stops working I will update this review.

Fit our whirlpool dryer. These seem to last about 2-3 years before the coil breaks.

Heating element went out in the dryer this morning. Ordered replacement at lunch, when I got home at 4:45 it was here. Changed it out and was running by 5:15. Fit perfect.

Installed this due to my original one breaking a single coil. Fast forward two months, I smell something in the laundry room burning. Took a few days to find the actual problem. It happened to be laundry day, go to use the dryer and no heat. I take the dryer apart and remove this only to find the entire inside rear of my dryer heater seemed to have caught fire due to the heat from this part. Thank goodness I did not become the victim of a house fire. Rating this cheap product 1 star seems too helpful. It should be zero stars and the company should be closed down

Used all parts except one and pay attention with parts attached to the dryer and the ones in package as it might look different. If you are skeptical look up the part numbers on old product and new for cross reference.

Just installed the replacement. It is working but it has only been 2 days. The last one only lasted 6mos. Heating element coil broke and welded itself to the body and grounded the dryer. Hopefully this will last longer, then I will update the rating.
