This aluminum foil tape works great! The thickness is just right — sturdy but still flexible enough to fit around ducts and pipes easily. The adhesive is super strong and holds up well even in high heat, and it doesn’t leave a sticky mess when removed. Peeling the backing is easy, and the tape doesn’t wrinkle or curl while applying. Perfect for HVAC work, dryer vents, or sealing ducts. Definitely a solid, heavy-duty option!

I used this to block heating vents from a boiler-heater that doesn't work well. The tape sticks very well to the painted surface of the vents, & faux wood floor, but does no harm & leaves no residue when removed ! Easy to use, & hey if the small amount of heat from the boiler doesn't cause it to stick more, it's a perfect tape for my application of it ! There was enough to do two long vents twice for two placements. Nice product !Thanks !!!

Much cheaper than 3M tape seems to work just as well. Sealed up some leaky connections in my old ductwork and has been holding strong for a few weeks now. Very sticky so it won't be the easiest to remove. But that's kind of what you want for this.

We got this to cover tiny holes and openings that our hvac installer left (sloppy job). we also covered a vent that was from something else and had to be diverted. This stuff worked great! completely covered anything you need it for,very sticky, easy to use,projects went quickly. It's been awhile since we used it and it is still sticking tightly likemthe day we put it on. I highly recommend and it can be used on things that get hot too. We used it on our furnace metal hood.
