Fertile Mind - Belly Belt Combo, The Ultimate Maternity Wear Solution

Unless you wear a very long and loose shirt with these, do not bother purchasing. I had high hopes for these bands as maternity cloths tend to be expensive and you only wear them for a short time. However, after using them I am disappointed because you can tell my pants are unzipped. Some reviews suggested using a Bella Band, or similar, over the bands, which I did. Didn't help. Even with the band, it is very obvious through my shirt that my pants are not buttoned. As I said before though, if you have shirts that are loose and sit under your zipper line, then you can get away with using this product. I've include three photos with this review to show what I mean.

I'm not sure if there is a certain time when these no longer work for you or if it's a certain style your jeans have to be, but these didn't work well for my jeans. It came with one jean attachment and 2 slacks attachments and 3 colored cloths. The part I was disappointed about was the zipper area. In the photos show no zipper scrunched or uneven, but with mine, you could totally tell I didn't have my pants zipped. I would be able to hind it with a long flowy shirt but nothing form fitting or shorter. Since I already bought them, I'll try them on some more jeans, but over-all I wouldn't recommend unless your under 20 weeks or on the smaller size,

I bought this product when I was around 26 weeks pregnant and could no longer button my jeans. I couldn't find any maternity jeans I was happy with, so I had to look for alternatives. I'm now 38 weeks and still using it! I expect to be able to use it right up until the end. While I see that this would be great for someone who wears dress pants with the option of the 2 slide-type bands, I haven't used those at all. I found the pieces of fabric to cover your underwear pretty useless as well. I'm 5'3" and 155 lbs @ 38 weeks, carrying really high & the only band I've used is the smallest one with 2 buttons. I don't anticipate ever needing the really long one, I'm no where near that big. After many weeks of use It is pretty worn and I'm waiting for one of the buttons to come off. :( I wish there was an option to not have purchased all the extra parts I didn't need, because I would have loved to have 2 of the smaller belts with the buttons, but oh well. With that said, I still would have purchased this item again because I didn't feel safe with just a hair tie holding my pants together!

the elastic is a little big for me as i have been using the smallest band for most of my pregnancy and i am currently 8 months and am still using that one. but it is still totally worth it because you never know how your body will change in pregnancy. this is very cost effective and has saved me a lot of money in terms of buying maternity clothes. if you are trying to make your regular clothes last throughout your pregnancy i would highly recommend this product. i would off this advice however, make sure you wear a long top, or a belly band (i use the bella band) over it to hide the button and the patch. it also helps ensure security but great product for the value.

This is awesome! I had maternity jeans, but the thighs wore out just 5 weeks before my baby’s due date. With such little time left in my pregnancy, there was no way I was going to buy another pair of maternity jeans. This belly belt is exactly what I needed. I bought myself some regular jeans and the belly belts so that I can wear these now and after my baby comes. The belts hold my pants up well enough, and with a belly band over top of these, I'm able to hide the fact that my pants are fully unzipped. I'm very happy with this purchase!

Got this product. Used one of the extenders for just under two weeks, and the button hole started to come apart. Now it gets hung every time I try to unbutton my pants. Using one of these is nowhere near as comfortable as wearing actual maternity jeans.

I really like the concept of these bands, but I have not found them to work very well. For me, the sizing never seems quite right and the panels are odd--unless you wear black, white, or blue thin cotton pants, these will not exactly go with your wardrobe. (For instance, the "denim" color completely misses the mark of any color or texture of jeans). I have had much better luck with Bellabands.

I bought this for my wife during her first trimester of pregnancy to allow her to wear her favorite pants longer. While my wife likes it, she does complain that it only works for certain pairs of pants. Many of her pants with multiple hooks instead of buttons, she still can't wear. She says its easy to use and has made her much more comfortable being able to wear her favorite pants during an often uncomfortable time. She has said it was weird at first having her pants unbuttoned all day, but after a little getting used to she is very pleased overall. This device has delayed her need to go shopping for new clothes and that is priceless to me. Spending a couple of dollars to avoid the maternity section for as long as possible makes this purchase worth it to me.
