Good enough considering OEM isn’t available
The product fits well and is relatively easy to install, aside from the center console disassembly. Being plastic, it’s obviously flimsy and is of less quality than oem, but it was the best I could find for the price since an oem part seems unavailable.

Does not fit/Poor Quality
Just an FYI: the part is cheap for a reason. The plastic is obviously very flimsy and it is also too wide to fit on its own. You will need to trim the piece so that it fits into the shifter. This sucks to find out after spending the time to disassemble your entire console. It also does not come with the shifter indicator strip which was an oversight on my end. I would return it but now it’s too late. Waste of money.

Item too wide
Bought for my 2005 Mustang GT. Had to trim a few mm from each side so that it would fit in the channel. Length was fine.

Didn’t use it. Was a cheap piece of plastic.

Not a good product
This product will not fit your 2006 ford mustang. it is thinner that the OE, and will tear easy. The one I ordered is useless.

Flimsy broke after two shifts
After installing, the thin areas on both sides by the shift lever snapped after only two shifts. Product is flimsy and way below OEM quality; does not have the segmented bottom like the OEM, either. It also does not provide for the shift quadrant indicator as this is missing, though it was not shown in the photo so I really didn't expect it to be included.Can't return it based on the comment that it needs to be in "original condition" which, since it broke, is excluded.
