Q: This says “at most oven temperatures”. i see there’s a synthetic washer. if i don’t use that is the knob good up to 500 degrees f?

Thank you for your attention Regardless of whether you use washer or not, the knob can be used at 500 degrees f. But I hope you pay attention to the high temperature, don't touch the knob directly with your hands. The screws and washers we provide are spare parts. Most of the time, it is not used if it is installed on the Dutch Oven. Hope to help you.

Q: Will this fit a Martha Stewart Dutch oven?

It is advertised as a universal handle. It fit my Chantal Dutch oven just fine. Not sure about Martha Stewart but I have a feeling it will fit. It fits my Dutch oven well and has held up very well!

Q: What is the diameter of the screw?

Screw head is 1/4" but can't tell what the diameter of the actual screw. It fits our dutch oven perfectly. I was thrilled I didn't need to throw away an expensive pot.

Q: Will this work on a 2qt Le Creuset dutch oven?

The metal knobs are NOT all the same. The OEM ones from L.C. come in 3 sizes. SMALL (1-1/2" metal knob) is for 1 to 1-3/4 qt Dutch ovens and saucepans. MEDIUM (2" metal knob) is for 2 to 3-1/2 qt ovens and saucepans. LARGE (2-1/4" metal knob) is for 4-1/2 to 15-1/2 qt ovens. This product is 2" diameter, which is the same diameter as the OEM knobs meant for MEDIUM size Dutch ovens or the saucepans.
