They both looked brand new!
I was surprised to see that they both looked brand new! There was room for my canteen, canteen cup, lid, scrubbie pad and a small spoon inside the canteen cover. I'm tempted to buy everyone I know one of these for Christmas. They are that high quality. I look forward to using mine during hog season in the state forest here in Florida. Everyone who reads this should buy this set!

Over all the made in China stuff. Light weight well made. fits on military pistol belt. Great value for made in U.S.A. products.

I had to fix it first.
The pouch and bottle appear brand new never issued.However my bottle was dented as if it was stepped on.I filled the bottle full of scalding hot water for 5 minutes then smashed it back into shape.It now looks brand new.

The plastic canteen works fine and is new - no leaks at the cap. The cover also looked to be like new and was in very good condition.

Superb Quality.
Even though it advertises the carrier as used. It came in practically brand new. Barely viable wear on the holder. And the bottle was brand new, and as suspected came in as factory new quality. Amazing quality, and the price point just makes it an absolute must buy!

I bought mine from Survival Surplus and an very happy.
I bought my used from Survival Surplus. I came in great condition. I am sure this is the same thing I had while in the Marines. I don't believe that it was ever issued. The canteen appeared new, with some scratches on it from long term storage, and the cover was clean and showed no sighs of wear what so ever. I would recommend getting the surplus one versus paying extra for a new one. The one thing I did do is rinse it with bleach and water just to make sure it was clean.
