Zimbabwe 10 Billion Dollars 2008, World inflation record, currency banknotes P85 by RBZ

My nephew is in elementary school and they are studying different country's currency in class. When I told him about the Zimbabwe 10 billion dollar bill, he didn't believe me. When he saw this thing for real, it blew his mind.Sure, it's not worth the paper that it is printed on, but the bill delivered was in pristine condition. There is a certain irony that the 10 billion dollar bill has a pile of rocks on the front, as the bills were made obsolete in 2015 and the pile of rocks pictured is worth more than the currency now. (Interestingly, the rocks were supposed to represent development and environmental protection. Still, it seems an odd image for currency.)If you are in the market, at there are 100 trillion Zimbabwe bills of a similar vintage out there, but they were a lot more expensive than the 10 billion version. (There is a certain irony that the 100 trillion Zimbabwe dollars are worth exactly the same as the 10 billion dollar version is not lost on me.)For those interested in novelty items or the casual collector this is a fun item to buy. My bill came in what I would consider perfect condition but even so this may not be the case for a collector who might want a bill to be in pristine, uncirculated condition with a certificate of authenticity.That said, my nephew enjoyed this bill immensely and it was a hit with his class. I liked that it shipped in great condition and was exactly what it was advertised to be. Recommended.

I bought this product for my husband's birthday and he was through the moon about it! He likes to collect various monies and this piece did not disappoint! The bill was in a plastic protective cover with no creases. I did my research on this piece before ordering, and some reviews stated their money was folded and looked to be circulated. This was NOT the case for ours. It was in perfect condition with no folds and did not look circulated at all. I even showed it to my co workers and they were very impressed. I would highly recommend and would purchase again. Shipping was extremely fast and packaged perfectly for safe delivery. Great product and piece of history.

I can finally retire! Seriously, these are pretty cool. I bought two, because why not. Neither one is uncirculated, but both are in decent condition. One has been folded in half, but the crease is not too bad. The other has no creases, but has two small stains, and one very slightly frayed corner. Nothing terrible, but they shouldn't advertise them as uncirculated. Honestly, I didn't think they would be. I'm sure these were flying off the presses and into circulation as fast as possible. Still in good shape. Happy with my purchase. And why wouldn't I be? Its not every day I get to become a multi-billionaire! I would buy them again, but with this much money, I'm set for life!

I ordered 3 of these for some collector friends.All of them look basically new. I also ordered the 100 trillion bill for my personal collection.

The seller had mine in a fairly hard-backed sleeve, in wonderful condition (no creases or anything). This is a beautiful piece of history from a terrible time that should serve as a lesson to all other nations about the dangers of just printing more "paper" and hyperinflation. There are also Z$10 Trillion and 100 Z$Trillion bills available from during the peak of the crisis, just before the government dissolved the currency and switched to the US dollar (which it is still on, as of this writing), which I would also highly recommend snagging. Nothing like being able to tell all of your friends that you are a billionaire or trillionaire :-) And if you haven't seen it, you can also get bills from Germany's hyperinflation that are similarly historic.

Used to be, you could get two hundred $100,000 bills (good, used condition) for $15 US. These middlemen have apparently bought those up and selling one or two st a time.STILL, lots of fun asking for CHANGE. Even better, their dictator TRIED to offer these nice people FREE healthcare, FREE college, FREE farmland,etc.When the money ran out, they simply printed up more AND taxed Medical Pros, dentists, lawyers, GOOD Farmers, etc. at approximately 95% tax. So GUESS WHAT??? Yes, their “talent pool” left the country. In short, the former “bread basket” of Africa is NOW a “basket case.”

Great collectibles, but if you have been paying attention to the news for 12 years you would know that that currency will revalue soon, Be blessed.
