Good for a cop
Working as an LEO on night shift this light is very helpful. IT IS BRIGHT has a fuller beam than any stinger which I’ve always used before this. For pin point light the stinger may be comparable to this but for $40 extra you will light up the entire front of a house or an entire vehicle instead of just a door way.m or window. The button is small and takes some training to get used to.

My husband loves it!
My husband loves this flashlight. It has multiple settings and a turbo setting for super bright light. It is rechargeable and comes with two mounting clips so you could transfer it from your home to vehicle if need be. The holster is very durable.

Great magnetic charging
A really high quality light. Bright as the sun. Multiple charging options and extra brackets included in the kit so you can have this set up for both house and car. Great magnetic charging.

Extremely bright
Loved the brightness of light but returned because I'm afraid it would slip out of my hand while working and I'd lose it.

An excellent torch for LE, Emergency and other places you need reliable, powerful light.
OLight have been putting out some really great lights lately. The R50 Pro LE kit knocks it out of the park! The Pro swaps the XHP50 out for a larger, more powerful XHP70. I can't figure out why OLight didn't name it the R70 though... The output increases by 700 lumens which is a visible, though not huge increase. This can be useful in some cases, but a wider spread of output levels and longer runtime are usually more important. This makes the regular XHP50 R50 seeker still a very good choice. The rest is pretty much the same, which is to say close to excellent. Just a very few things would make this torch better. There is no 'moonlight' mode. Press and hold from off merely selects the regular low output level, which isn't very low. The larger X7 Marauder has 3 XHP70 and a 3 Lumen moonlight, why not the R50? Also, I wish it had 4 regular output levels along with a moonlight and turbo, like the S4. Finally, if would be especially cool if it had the 3 and 9 minute timeout options found in the Baton lights, like the S2. That would be keen on the X7 as well as just about any torch. But, the LE Kit is the real kicker here! It comes with a mains power supply and a 12v automobile accessory plug and two mounting plates. These can be mounted with provided 3M hook and loop fastener (three generously sized sets are provided) or with the provided expanding wall mounts and screws. Mounting on other surfaces like metal or wood can be accomplished with the appropriate screws. The charger easily snaps onto the mounting plate and has a convenient and accessible tab to unlock and move the base from base to mobile. This mount isn't going to come apart and fall off the wall, that's for sure. The charge rate is a no holds barred 3A. This makes for a charge current near, but below 1C which is an excellent trade off on speed and longevity of the included 26650 power cell. And here is... the rub. In order to make the R(echargable) series torches, they've created proprietary cells that have positive and negative conductors on on end of the cell. In the case of the R50, on the bottom. This means that you can not charge the proprietary cell outside of the torch, but you can use standard rechargable ("secondary") power cells.Just don't try to charge those on the included base. It's all mutually exclusive to a degree. The good news is the OLight cells are high quality (and price, heh) and with care will last quite a while. If you use the torch regularly, such as in a LE other other working capacity, your duty cycle will likely be all the care they need. The charger fits the torch very nicely. Putting the torch into and removing it is simple and easy. The emergency light on function is incredibly useful. When power is lost to the charging base, the light is turned onto low power through an IR link. In a power outage this makes for not only easily locating the the torch, but also if care is put into it's mounting, it can strategically provide working illumination for a room or area while staying in the base. Oh, there's another thing... Since the USB charging port is no longer found in the base of the torch, OLight have put in a magnet! In the field you can just stick the light to any convenient metal surface to provide hands free lighting.I've given this torch 5 stars based on my experience with the R50 Seeker XHP50 and many other OLight and other electric torches. I'd be very happy to see this kit in use for emergency preparedness and on duty lighting by my friends and family.

Purchased directly from Olight in 2018.
All worked upon arrival and loved this product. Have now owned 1 year and hardly used, light stored on charger. Bright (turbo) setting no longer operates, and lower illumination mode only operates a short time before running out of juice. Have made numerous inquiries' to Olight c.s. with no response. Unless you are willing to spend more $ on replacement batteries than the cost of this unit in order to keep it operating, you might want to look at other brand products :(12/20/2019 Update: No longer has turbo mode OR high anymore, only low and medium. $15.00 flashlights now out-perform this lump of garbage.
