Must give 5 stars, even with personal gripe; gripe is my fault. The pillow is very thick: around 6" from bed surface if you measure undisturbed. I wish I bought it either softer, or thinner. The loft is incredible. If not made apparent by Amazon's review tags, I would like to share that I purchased this pillow as Medium. I did not think Medium would be this level of stiffness, but I blame myself for that.Incredible quality, no complaints.

I have nerve damage in my neck and in my head and I probably had a dozen pillows and I don’t use them. I can’t lay on the back of my head so I have to lay on the side. This one holds its strength doesn’t collapse under my weight. It may be too firm for some, but it was just right for me. When I lay My head down the pillow doesn’t sink to the mattress that’s the type of firmness. So my head is laying in like inside the pillow. There’s pillow under me and cushion around my head. It’s hard to explain.

The Purple Cloud Pillow initially offers a plush, gentle cradle for your head, mirroring the softness of down pillows without being overly yielding. Its hypoallergenic feature ensures a clean, irritant-free sleep, while the 6” height caters well to both side and back sleepers. The first few nights were nothing short of comfy, with the pillow maintaining its loftiness and providing the right amount of support.However, as days rolled by, the pillow seemed to lose its loft, flattening considerably which, in turn, affected the level of support it offered. The initial fluffiness gave way to a rather flat feel, quite contrary to what the name suggests. Although it didn’t require much fluffing initially, it started to crave some lift which unfortunately, a good fluff couldn’t restore.Despite its easy-care nature and affordability, the diminished support over time was a letdown. If the resilience in maintaining its shape and support was enhanced, this pillow could indeed be a dreamy cloud for your slumber. Nonetheless, it stands as a budget-friendly option for those who might prefer a flatter pillow or are looking to try a down-alternative pillow without breaking the bank.

Quality is good, but the pillow is way too firm and no way to adjust it. For anyone who questions whether it might be too firm for them or not, just know that it’s very overfilled and the filling has very little give in it.

I suffer from chronic pain and my sleep suffers as well, over the past three years I have tried hundreds of pillows. Most of the pillows I've tried were memory foam, some shredded and adjustable and solid foam, the problem with shredded is the foam clumps up over time, the solid foam don't have a lot of give and can feel hard especially when I'm in pain. I didn't think I would like a down alternative pillow because the one's I've tried my head sunk right down, but in the purple cloud pillow the fiber's are coated in silicon so when I lay on the purple cloud it supports my head but yet still feels soft. I am a combination sleeper and I am comfortable no matter what position I'm in on the purple cloud. I have actually had better night's sleep on the purple cloud pillow, and the best thing is it's a third the cost of a lot of pillows that didn't work out for me. I hope my review helped.

I have been using a My Pillow pillow for several years. After seeing the Purple Cloud Pillow, I wanted to give it a try. There are several types of Purple Cloud Pillows, so I selected this model to try. The pillow seemed comfortable for the first several nights, then I started to get a pain in my neck. After about one week, I had to stop using it and went back to my other pillow. A few nights later, the pain in my neck went away; so, it seems that this Purple Cloud Pillow will not work for me. Disappointed that this did not work for me. A Pillow is a personal preference and some people may love the Purple Cloud Pillow; however, I cannot use it.
