Super sturdy airplanes for active young ones
Absolutely loved these airplanes. My grandson and I have had many hours of zooming them across the floor. He adores airplanes and this was the perfect gift for him. Small enough to fit in his little hands. But I didn’t have to assemble anything. I just pulled the tab and I could turn on the sounds and the lights. And the colors are bright and bold. And they’re built really well. I can’t tell you how many times they’ve gone flying off of a table. Great for boys and girls.

Realistic, large, and satisfying
I got this for my son after a long arduous search for large realistic plastic airplanes. I found no shortage of horrible cartoonish unrealistic large planes and no shortage of realistic tiny die-cast planes -- neither of which appealed to my son or me. Finally I found this. And it appealed tremendously, both for the Montessori realism factor and the fun factor. A caution: By default, it makes the most horrifying and annoying electronic sounds. It became much more palatable in our household after I partially disassembled it and cut the wire to the speaker. That left just the fun blinking lights. My son and I also found the front-wheel mechanism annoying -- it kept wanting to spin the plane round and round, never allowing my son to just make it move forward. So while I had the thing partially disassembled, I cut the wire to the motor. Now we have a fun, colorful, freely-moving, silent toy plane. Very satisfying.

Got replacement works well!
* updated ~ the seller quickly sent us a replacement and my nephew is so excited to have a complete and working airplane. It’s as advertised - sturdy - looks cool!! Great buy!I purchased this for my nephew for his birthday. We received it and immediately unboxed it - it did not come with the tail pieces and it wasn’t wrapped in the box? We installed 3 brand new batteries. It seemed new except the missing parts- it also is not fully operating and is flimsy. Only one side lights up and we have to push it together to get both wings to light up and then one of the wings fails again. The way it came in the package looked like it was a return from someone else that we received. Even with all this my nephew is obsessed with it and I wasn’t able to pry it from him to return it. I contacted the sellers and have not received any response. Very disappointed.

Only worked properly for a short time.
Great toy for 3 weeks. After that, the plane stopped moving forward and now will only move in circles, despite replacing batteries. Think twice before purchasing.

Parenting Fail
I was trying to introduce my son to the idea of planes before his first plane ride. In my head this was going to be perfect. I could tell little man about the plane and we could walk the little people on and put them in their seats to “buckle up.” Then we would listen to the flight attendant for safety instructions. I’d show him the wings and tell him about takeoff and landing. Total parenting fail. I didn’t realize it was motorized and decided to turn it on. It spins around super fast then moves on its own crashing into things and making noise. I was instantly regretting turning the thing on, flashing forward to the therapy bills I’d be incurring in the future for my son’s fear of planes. We quickly turned it off and now just use it as a non-motorized toy. Even that is awful since the sides do not stay open on their own so every time he wants to play with this I need to not only hold it open for him but I also need to help him get the people in their seats because the pegs are so small it’s impossible for a little one to do on their own. Plus the flight attendant can only be placed into her stand facing exactly the right way because it’s not a circular peg. All around a bad purchase on my part. Luckily he doesn’t seem to have any long-term damage from the one time we turned it on. Though after proofing this post, I wonder if I maybe I do… 🤔
