The edge grind on the one I received is pretty rough although the knife is very sharp is this normal for Buck or did I just get a poor grind ?

You're lucky you got a grind. The one I received didnt even have a secondary bevel so I made one myself on my own sharpening equipment. Afterwards it took a really wicked edge, but that was pretty poor QC in my opinion. It wouldnt surprise me if they were trying to rush these out.

Whats a good case for this knife to make it your daily carry around knife. I got mine and damn is it sweet but a little dsngerous!

I don't think the knife was designed for a case? Made try adjusting the tension on the ball bearing a little bit. Call Buck customer service too.

Is this knife thin? i want an edc that is not bulky in my pocket.

Here are its approximate dimensions: length 4 3/4" width 1 1/2" thickness (minus the clip) 3/8". It is a great knife with a lockup while open similar to a fixed blade. I'd buy again for sure, but it's not a small knife.
