I was looking at multiple tripods to use with my GoPro when recording my son's sporting events (football) and landed on this one. I am glad I did. It has great adjustments all the way around. It feels super sturdy while still being lightweight. It comes with everything I needed out of the box to do what I needed it to do. It also came with a carry bag that is super helpful. I am not 100% sure how it works with a DSLR, but it is perfect for my GoPro! I am glad I chose this one when I was looking around. Oh, and the price wasn't bad for what you get!*At a recent game, some kids were playing around on the bleachers I had it set up on to record, and they knocked it over. It fell a few feet onto metal bleachers. Nothing broke or dented.

Victiv Tripod 74-Camera Excellent Tripod Sets up in seconds and is very sturdy even under the weight of my 300 mm Telephoto lens (Cannon Camera). The elevation handle is very convenient and raises the camera very quickly and smooth. Tripod is made of quality material, very light weight and should last for many years.

Very hard to figure out how it goes together. The instructions do not include assembly! I did find a YouTube video that helps. The product seems sturdy and convenient for travel.

10/10 reccomend the price is good and the quality of this tripod is even better. I had a few smaller ones the never held up. This one is sturdy, lightweight and comes with a nice carrying bag

Great quality, tremendous value for the money. Is it as good as a top-flight tripod? No. But it's a small fraction of the price for 95% of the function on most days. Also very easy and quick to pack and unpack and set up.

Well, for openers, I wouldn't exactly consider this tripod to be "Heavy Duty" as stated in the description. It is, however, sturdy enough for me to be comfortable using it with my cameras, including my Nikon P1000, which is a beast, weighing in at just over 3 lbs. without having to worry that it will collapse or blow over in a breeze. I should point out, that when using it with the Nikon, I also use a tripod mount support adapter for weight balance as I do on any other tripod.What it is, is a nicely made, good looking, lightweight and compact tripod suitable for hiking or travel. All functions, like pan and tilt, work well and smoothly and when locked into position, I haven't notice any drift which I consider to be important. It also has a conveniently built in collapsible carry handle, and comes with a nice soft carry case, a smart phone adapter, and an extra mounting plate which I thought was a nice touch and which allows me to change cameras without changing the mounting plate.If something changes in the future, I'll update this review, but, for now, I'm really pleased with it and would definitely buy it again. Oh, and did I say it was good looking too?
