I'm 41...which means I have been using this hairspray, I think for about 20 years now. Exclusively. I'm a sensory sensitive person, scents that are too strong give me headaches and I CANNOT stand hairspray that makes your hair feel crunchy, greasy, or immovable. This hairspray is the only one I will ever use. I would have a panic attack if they discontinued it. I love the smell, it's light. And it's soft, but holds style reasonably well. Don't get me wrong, Tom Sandoval would NEVER be satisfied using this hairspray for one second (you have to be a fan of Vanderpump Rules to get this reference, but if you are you know EXACTLY what I am talking about). I am a teacher, so modest income, and I think $30+ for hairspray is kind of cray cray, but in this case, it's just worth it. It really is. Solid purchase.

It’s hard to find a non-aerosol good for you, good for the planet hairspray that isn’t crunchy! I found it in this Aveda product! I love the soft hold, never crunchy. I love the smell and it has nice shine. The only issue is the same issue that I found with any spray bottle hairspray, the nozzle gets sticky and clogged. I just give it a rinse after using, and it’s ready the next time. I can always count on Aveda for the best products.

Love the brilliant line from Aveda. This works well doesn’t leave your hair crunchy it is a lighter hold that doesn’t damage your hair. My only complaint is the spray bottle doesn’t give an even spread it’s heavy in certain spots instead of even all over.

I have used this for many years. Usually, I don't even let my hairdresser use hairspray on me. So many sprays are heavy and my hair feels dirty the next day. This will hold the hair in place but my hair is still soft. My hair doesn't feel dirty. This is a good product. The only issue I have had with it regarded shipping. They tried to tape the plastic lid cover in place. It didn't work. The package was saturated with the spray. I'm not sure how they could have done it any differently.

I used to use only aveda products and over the years found other brands. I saw brillant aveda hair spray on amazon and thought I would see if it was as good as I remembered. It is !!! The scent is light and yummy. It has a light hold where I can still run my fingers through my hair and I am hooked! It is my ride or die from here on out.update : the spray bottle clogs and dribbles large drops of hair spray on my hair in spots. had to switch to different spray bottle
