Can I use this die for my black leather sofa?

I use it on my leather seats in an older car. It usually takes at least 2 applications to get it evenly applied. A sofa would be difficult, and it would take a lot of dye. It's possible, but you would have to be very patient

Pretty sure, yes. If the old surface is smooth & shiny, you may need to roughen it a bit first. Also, plan on at least 2-3 coats-- there's plenty in the bottle.

Is this product good to paint rubber soles on sneakers

Absolutely not, it will not penetrate the leather properly that I bought it for. Not a very good product.

Will this dye change the color of the stitching as well as the leather?

Yes if the stitching is string or leather the dye will make it black.
