I have owned several "could lose a finger or hand" mandolins but they really intimidated me too...after several searches and long considerations I seen this one and thought why not....so far I love it....used it 9 times blade is sharp, cuts are great..once you figure out the dials(which came quickly), suction cups hold well and so easy to use the pump handle ...which also locks when not in use just push down and twist. I don't worry about cutting myself and there is no waste of product it cuts to the very last little piece. I think it is very easy to clean...I use soapy water and rag then run water down it one way and the other seems to work plus you get little brush for grooves if needed....I personally would not do dishwasher just because I can get it cleaner by hand. Glad I took the chance and bought it...not disappointed at all.

My pantry was filled with choppers that promised to do a variety of tasks. ALL of them did not do what they promised to do. While surfing Amazon, I came across this chopper. After reading and seeing the videos, I just chuckled thinking," well, here is another gimmick to waste money. I do a lot of canning and pickles are a favorite of my family. My cucumbers were ready to pick and I pulled out one of my slicers. Out of total frustration and tired of fighting with these choppers and slicers, they all went in the trash. So, back to Amazon and I revisited this chopper, so I ordered it.Well, well, well great things come in small packages!!! It not only slices cucumbers to perfection, it shreds cabbage and slices and dices other vegetables. I LOVE this product. All you need is this one chopper/slicer. It is so easy to use and easy to clean up. It does what it advertised it can do. It works great!! The other great thing is I now have more pantry space!

This mandolin is much safer than the usual ones I've used, which I really appreciate. It's very easy to use and clean. I especially like the little bin that catches what you're slicing – a nice touch that helps keep things tidy.Although I haven’t used every feature yet, I love that it offers dicing and matchstick cuts without needing to physically change the blades. You just turn a dial, which makes switching between styles super convenient.The only downside is that the food area is a bit small, so it may not be ideal for slicing larger items. But overall, it’s a great product and a solid addition to any kitchen.

This slicer is amazing!! I had to read instructions before using because I was unsure how it went together. Once I assembled it, I was amazed at how easy it is to use!! The slices were exact and everything was cut in no time. It seems very well built. The mandolin folds up nicely but the other parts don’t fit with it.I wish I had paid attention to there being other colors. When I ordered I just clicked on the first one that came up which was navy.This is a great product and I’m glad I bought it.

I recently borrowed this mandolin from my daughter when I was canning pickles. I was so impressed with the quality, ease of use and the different settings that I ordered one for myself. I have not experimented with it yet on all of the settings but it sliced cucumbers and eggplant great. The cleanup is quick and easy, and I love the fact that it folds up for storage. Everything is set on the main body and so there are not extra blades to store. My son has just put in an order for one also.

It is an excellent choice when there is a lot of slicing and dicing to do, but not so much when you just want to slice up some tatters to go with your bacon and eggs in the morning.This device does several things well, from slicing veggies at different thicknesses to shredding them. And it does them quickly.However, there are some drawbacks:One is that the feed hopper is too small to hold even a small onion, which must be peeled and cut into smaller pieces to feed it through the machine. The same applies to decent-size potatoes or any other round, normal-size vegetable.Two, cleaning the device after use takes some time because of its design: there are lots of little nooks and crannies that need to be cleaned one at a time using the provided tool. Dishwasher? Sure. But according to the instructions, you can’t leave it in the dishwasher during the drying cycle.Three, there are multiple parts, including the detachable input hopper and its associated push-feeder, the catch tray (which is too small for most uses).Four, The knob for adjusting the overall thickness and the two multi-knife slicers' height adjustments require time and experimentation to get them set the way you want them.On the plus side, it appears to be well-made and works as advertised. It would be a valuable tool if you are cooking for a large family gathering. But if you just want to dice up an onion, use a sharp knife.

This mandolin is easy to use, a breeze to clean and safer than my old mandolin or slicing with a knife.
