This mode plate is perfect for special projects or unique headboard sizes. Steel construction creates a heavy-duty connection. This set includes two modification plates. To attach both a headboard and a footboard, you will need two sets. Sturdy, Did the trick
Had to mate a Pottery Barn headboard to a standard frame. Wouldn't you know it, the PB headboard isn't made to fit a standard frame. They want you to buy their $130 special made PB frame to fit their "special" headboard. (NEVER AGAIN PB). Now a standard frame should cost between $40-$60~. So bought this to interface my standard frame to the PB headboard because I would never give PB another dime to rip me off. These worked pretty well, got them quickly. They are heavy gauge, very sturdy, with enough holes so that I was able to get 2 of 3 mounting holes on the headboard to match up. They are a little "rough", some not so finished edges around the holes, but not bad enough to cut fingers. It took a little trial and error to find the right fit, but as I said, there were enough holes with adjustments to make it work. Good enough.I found out later, that PB has adapter plates they sell, but they are on the PB Kids website, only, not the regular site (and after looking at them I'm not sure they would work any better). Go figure. Apologizes to MALOUF for ranting about PB on your review.

Sturdy but had to make notch bigger
I ordered these to attach a queen headboard on a full size bed frameIt came with all the screws needed but the slots that attach to the frame weren't long enough so I notched them out a bit to make them longerAfter I notched them out they worked perfect and were super easy to screw inThere sturdy and still holding strong no issues will buy again but be careful with the length of the notches .

Tampered package...missing bolts and nuts
Pacakaging had a visible hole which was resealed by taping the whole box closed. The bolts and nuts were missing (surprise they were removed by the hole in the package). Now I will have to buy my own and if that fails (as I have now read in other reviews) I will be returning the plates.
