Helps my anxious cat (1+ year of usage)
I've had this product for almost a year now and have repurchased it a handful of times now and I can honestly say, for my cat, this works wonders and is truly worth the price. I was recommended this by a vet because my cat had a problem with overgrooming, and since this is a single cat household, I was told this may help ease her anxiety. Since using this, my cat has slowed her overgrooming, and has become much more social able and friendly than she was before. She's not nearly as territorial either. I've never had any problems with it leaking, it has next to no smell, and it doesn't get very hot.The only thing I will note, is that it doesn't last a full month. It runs out closer to around 20-25 days.

Good Product
I find myself using these quite often with three cats who don’t always gets along. I can’t smell anything from these but it seems like it helps my cats to be more calm. These last around 30 days and are a little pricey but I think the work well.

Takes the edge off the aggression a bit
This definitely takes the edge off, helping our 2 cats to get along better. When it runs out we notice, so I set up auto ship. It does not work miracles, but they no longer draw blood regularly.

Works for my 2 boys
This helped when I got my youngest and helped both of them adjust. Also helped them not go full Cain and Abel when I went on vacation. I don’t smell anything. The heat doesn’t damage anything. It doesn’t leak or anything like that. Easy to use and set up. It’s similar to a regular plus in. I get refills as needed now that they’ve gotten used to each other. So usually just for when I’m not home to help relax them and keep anxiety low. It would be super bad in the house without Feliway. It does work. It’s worth it. They’re relaxed which makes me relaxed. Relaxation central thanks to this stuff!

They work!
These diffusers really work! My cats are clearly more relaxed when I plug them in. One lays right by it all of the time. I always have one on hand when I know a stressful situation is coming like houseguests or pet visitors.

Will continue to buy
This seems to work fairly well. Some of the fighting among the cats have decreased. One cat, sadly, still paces around the house. I have not noticed any noise with the device. Very easy to refill after 30 days. Will continue to buy and use.

It worked at first
I'm giving this 5 stars because I noticed a difference in my cats within a day of using them for the first time. The fighting stopped and the bullying stopped. The anxiety symptoms went away. There was a noticeable calm in the house and it was great. Fast forward a few months and it no longer works. We are right back to where we were before we started using it. I think cats develop an immunity to whatever kind you use. These may work again for us after we have taken a break from them. The thing is, they are crazy expensive and I have never seen a sale on them anywhere. It's a lot of money to spend, hoping that they will start working again. While they initially helped with fighting and bullying issues, they never did do anything about spraying problems. In all fairness, I haven't found a brand that has helped with that. As other reviewers have mentioned, these do leak oil. I haven't had oil on the floor or on the walls but the diffuser gets covered in it and then hair gets stuck to it. You have to wipe the diffusers off once or twice a week. Again, 5 stars because they truly worked better than any brand I have tried for the first 2 months. I wouldn't give 5 stars for longevity or for price. My cats have had a little break from Feliway Optimum so I would try them again, hoping for the initial result, if they ever go on sale.

The Relaxation was Almost Immediate
Years ago, I tried Feliway for the three Maine Coon brothers we had. At that time, it was a spritz in a small bottle. My goal was to stop the marking contest that had developed among the brothers. At that time, I saw no effect.Twenty five years later, new life and different cat.I'm on my third refill for the plug in and just ordered more.I acquired a gently used neutered female Himalayan. Said to be 4 years old, vet says closer to seven. I noticed a difference after about a week. She was not a problem but seemed less comfortable than I had hoped. The Feliway has made a noticeable difference in her behavior. She's much more affectionate. She's now seeking me out for petting sessions. Her posture has changed. She previously seemed to perch wherever she sat. Now, she stretches out and "becomes one" with her resting spot. She watches a couple neighborhood strays from the windows and the sliding glass door but I don't think she knows what they are. I put peanuts on the steps and she's been face to face with a squirrel or chipmunk and will occasionally jump at them. She's and only cat with a lonely old lady now. She'd lived in an apartment for the last four years and the background before that is a mystery. Her previous mom was re-homing her as she prepared to enter a nursing home.I went from thinking, "what have I done,"to thinking she's pretty cool company.I was told she was unable to meow (?) due to a "voice box injury," but she emits an occasional squeaky attempt and I am thrilled. The vet said that if she can purr, she can meow if she wants to. She purrs like a motor boat. So, we will see if our conversations increase. I love the back and forth talking that I have done over the years with previous feline companions.I use one plug-in in my 1100 sqft house. I have noticed that she often lies in the central hallway where it's plugged in.I will continue to use Feliway. I've seen no problem with the plug-in unit. It seems like a smart dispersing option. No smell or leaking.I've replaced them at 25 to 28 days. She's so much more relaxed. I no longer have buyers remorse about the cat. She's a keeper now.
