Good cord...
0.5mm is smaller than I thought, looks like less than 0.5 but at that size, hard to tell, really.... first thing I thought when I got it was "WOW! that is tiny!" Looks like thread, but for its size, it is VERY tough. I tried it for my application and decided I need to use slightly larger diameter line, but again, that is my bad for not thinking how small .5mm would be. It handles and seems to hold knots well. For kicks I made a couple loops and made prussiks - they function fine even though are tiny. 5-star for the 0.5mm size==================For some reason, I can't write separate review for purchase of larger cord of same type I bought - 1.3mm. Maybe because same Amazon listing with different sizes of same item? I dunno. This size worked for my application. I expected 1.3mm to be to big and a little too stiff, but it works great. It is very supple, handles well, and holds the knots I've used so far. I have some other HMWPE in slightly larger and expected this 1.3mm to be stiffer but it is just right for my application. It is hollow braid and separates fine if you work at it a bit; if I had a small enough fid / loop, I expect I could splice it (I have had good luck splicing similar cord in larger diameter from Emma Kites). Great cord. 5-stars.

This is what Batman uses to climb up the sides of buildings!!!
It is not the easiest cord to tie knots in, but otherwise it is amazing. Simply INCREDIBLE strength-to-size/weight ratio, and a very decent value for the money. Half the size of 550 Paracord, but more than double the breaking strength. I've given up on Paracord -- I take #36 Bank Line for when I need to be able to tie knots easily and high strength isn't an issue, and this (generic Dyneema) cord for when 1200-pound test is handy. Great for ridgelines, large load-bearing tripods (e.g., for a Teepee / Wickiup type of shelter), tying up enraged Grizzly Bears, fishing for Great White Sharks, etc.

Value priced, meets or exceeds description, works as advertised and is a value.
I purchase several things on Amazon and was giving pretty in-depth reviews. From this point on, here's the new agenda…. if it works as advertised, is well made, meets or exceeds the description, is a value, and arrives in a fair amount of time, it will get a "star rating" equal to what my expectations were/are. If it doesn't meet these criteria, then I will most definitely and descriptively tell the short comings of the products and you as a consumer will not have to go through the trouble of buying the product without some background knowledge. If the sell pulls that item and relists under another description, I will put the exact same review on the seller's feedback page. Sellers have done this a couple of times in the past, and I was true to my word then as well as now. DR

Strengthy string that's sure to impress!
This stuff is strong! Very durable and easy to work with, braidable and your knots stay put. Would recommend. 5 stars.

Too thin to splice or tension a tent lineloc
This cord seems strong and it is very lightweight. I bought it to make tarp guylines, but it was too thin to splice.

"Spectra"-like UHMWPE super-strong cord
This is super strong Ultra-High Molecular Weight PolyEthylene cord, also called Spectra. UV resistant, wear/abrasion and moisture resistant, it lasts forever outdoors. It's surprisingly thin for its strength.

Oh wow is this stuff tough
Holy crow this is one tough line. This will literally give a knife or pair of scissors an unbelievable workout trying to cut. Turned slightly gray from UV exposure, which concerns me a little bit, but still strong as all get out after 2+ years.
