Bought to make my own napkin rings still haven’t used them but they appear to be fine

I bought these rings to go with pastel checked cotton napkins for Easter. They were a bit rough on the inside but running sandpaper over them a few times smoothed them out. I love the lighter wood color for spring and summer.

I wish they had been a little larger, but very well made and pretty.

Our family likes to use cloth napkins instead of using paper napkins everyday. But I wanted a way to mark each one's napkin. These rings were perfect. I wood burned each name onto the ring & added a design around the ring. I didn't like the first one I did, but there's 10, so I got to start over! I'm going to make one for the grandparents when they visit, and several that say "guest". The only thing that is tricky, is wood burning on a slightly curved surface. But if you're not striving for perfection, it's fun & works! The rings fit thin napkins & heavier ones, as in my photo.

They aren't sanded inside so if you try to use satin napkins or anything that picks, it will definitely do it.

Rings needed to be sanded down in every surface or they could have snagged a cloth napkin. They are well made and almost blemish free.
