Best thing for lap swimming!
This is one of my favorite purchases ever! These bone conduction headphones work incredibly well underwater and making my daily lap swimming so much more enjoyable. They work much better if you use the earplugs they come with, or any waterproof earplugs, but it's not necessary, just makes the sound clearer and louder. You have to load your own music onto it. You can also load podcasts, books, etc. They have an amazing return policy and really honor their product. I think it's easy for them to do since they are well made and work well. They're comfortable, easy to use, and the sound is clear. Can't say enough about these. If you're a lap swimmer, this will change your game. The only issue will be, if you're like me, you'll find it difficult to swim without them.

Simple Pefection! Great Sound Quality, Easy to Use (and they answer the phone!)
Absolutely fantastic product - it feels like it was designed by swimmers for swimmers. I've tried a few MP3 players for swimming - starting with the waterproof Nano. Sound quality, ease of use and durability were always the issue.Pros:Great sound quality. I swim in an Endless Pool and so the ambient noise of the water flowing/motor are higher than in a standard pool. I definitely needed to use the earplugs they include - but with them, absolutely perfect. I am careful to set the volume before I start swimming to make sure I keep it at a safe level. No issue at all with the bone conduction - love it. No - your teeth don't rattle! It feels exactly like an ear bud without the irritating bud in your ear.Easy to use. When swimming - the logic of the buttons are a must. These are perfect. Super simple to tactically feel the volume/skip buttons. Loading it with music was the same as any standard MP3. Worth noting that the charging cable is ingenious! It's a pin charger which means contact is essential and the USB charger connects with a clasp that keeps it in exactly the right place - and it can hang off a charger etc without losing connection - brilliant.Comfort. Anyone tired of having the quality of the music dependent on jamming the ear buds in to your ear and having to reposition them when they come loose will appreciate the bone conduction. As shown in the pictures - this wraps around the back of your head, comes over your ears and rests comfortably on the bone in front of your ear. I prefer to have a cap covering my ears which made these a bit awkward but giving that up, they are fine - and even swimming against a strong current in my Endless Pools these stay in position without any difficulty.Thoughtful additions. Love the rubber case (ventilated no less). Very thoughtful addition of excellent quality ear plugs. Fantastic charging system as mentioned. Wonderful tactical feel to the rubberized skin around the ear phones - they just feel high quality (and the blue is really great looking!).Great support. I was confused by the pre-loaded songs and thought I'd received a return from Amazon. Called them and was connected instantly. I don't always check up on customer service but when I know it's either particularly good or bad it's worth a mention.Value. Relative to other solutions out there - I found this to be an outstanding value.Comment on Lack of Blue Tooth: I would love it to have bluetooth for streaming Spotify - but that would mean having to have my very not waterproof iPhone on the pool deck which is just a bad idea for me. I tried and returned another system that was Bluetooth compatible and there are two issues that made it not worth the hassle. First - bluetooth doesn't travel through water so the device has to be carefully positioned and - at least in my case, the wi-fi signal where I swim isn't that strong and that means being organized enough to have offline playlists which I'm not. I'm sure this brand is going to figure it out but while swimming, I'm just happy to have tunes, it doesn't have to be my latest Spotify playlist.Cons:I haven't found a single one. I haven't had it long enough to test quality or battery/charge life but not concerned. For some, the lack of bluetooth and limitation of MP3 which means owning the music might be a negative. Thanks to the team at Shokz - the extra effort shines through. Wonderful to see a brand go the extra mile (and cost) for a great customer experience and service.

Good for swimming or cycling
I use these for both swimming and cycling, since I want to be able to hear my surrounds when I'm on my bike. It works well, although yesterday I was on a long ride and it kept replaying one song. It happened about three times, then it want back to normal. The battery life seems good, and I don't have to charge it very often. The sound is good. I'm not looking for high fidelity sound, just something to keep my mind off going uphill or doing multiple laps. Definitely recommend.

Solid headphones for alternative to in-ear style
TL;DR – Bought these for use in the gym and after doing some research into EMF radiation from wireless headphones. No question I absolutely would purchase again. Plus they are 20% off right now (Feb 2024).Been a longtime airpod and other type in-canal headphones for a long time. Came across some info about EMF radiation generated by any of these devices and looked into it a bit. While it may be minimal and not truly have any effect, it was still enough for me to want to make a change. These Openswim were independently reviewed with favorable results, so I decided to take a chance and pleasantly surprised. They are not entirely perfect, but I’m very satisfied with them. The headphones can have a vibrating effect depending on the music playing and volume level. Not necessarily a big deal to me, but takes a bit of getting used to it. Some of the cons listed are not really cons, but some things that others may not like.Pros:No EMF radiation.Solid fit on my head; no slipping from sweat.I like the bone conduction tech instead of having headphones jammed in my ear canal.Ear and nose plugs included if you plan to use for swimming.Music sounds good and is loud & clear enough to still muffle the horrible junk they play in the gym.Plenty of onboard storage.Battery life seems pretty good.Supports multiple file formats.Cons:The band is not adjustable. Kinda gets in the way sometimes when lying on my back. Perhaps I need to play around with the placement on my head.Music can sound a bit tinny in swim mode. Maybe it sounds different in or under water; I’ll never know.Unable to load audio books, podcasts, etc if you cannot download to a supported file type and transfer to the headphones. I only listen to music.Music will be in a single root folder…no subfolders or any way to set playlists. May be a turn off to some.Perhaps others, but nothing comes to mind that would change my decision in buying.
