Just flip the switch...
I decided to upgrade my router to allow me to add additional computers to my network with no changes to my existing installation and network configuration. This product was the ideal solution and works well as described. Connectivity is excellent and is truly plug and play to operate. I can now connect four additional computers to my router using this device. A good value.

Needed more ports.
Works fine. Five port was no longer sufficient for our needs. Should have gone bigger to begin with.

The only Ethernet switch you'll ever need!
I chose to purchase the TP-Link five port Ethernet Unmanaged Switch for my apartment to connect multiple devices that required an internet connection. The TP-link is perfect for anyone who needs to connect more than one device to Ethernet internet connections, such as college students, business owners, or the everyday person.I evaluated this device on five different criteria points: size, connection speed, price, power usage, and durability. Below are my findings. The size of this device is perfect in my mind. It is about the size of a normal 3x5 in. flash card and about an inch tall. It takes up almost no room at all, perfect for placing on or behind a desk.Connection speed is amazing! Each of the five ports is capable of internet connection speeds from 10 to 100mbps, which is very good, and they all support Auto MDI/MDIX. There is also no configuration required, just plug in an Ethernet cord from your device into this one and you’re ready to go! It’s just that easy! For less than 10$, this device is the best bang for your buck, worth every penny! It is the cheapest model that I could find on AmazonThe power usage for this device is very low, in fact, its energy efficient! It consumes up to 60% less than any other device.I have had this device for over three months now and the only problem I’ve had with it is accidentally unplugging the power to the device. It has held up amazingly well and I couldn’t be happier!Overall, this device is amazing and works like a charm. It is not very expensive and takes up barely any space at all. If you are tired of Wi-Fi not working and only have one port accessible, this is the device for you!I give this device 5 out of 5 stars.

This Ethernet splitter serves its purpose well, providing efficient connectivity for multiple devices. The compact design is convenient for desktop use, and the 5 ports offer ample connections for various devices such as computers, printers, and gaming consoles. The plug-and-play setup makes installation a breeze, ensuring a quick and straightforward process. The switch operates smoothly, delivering consistent performance for my wired devices. The 10/100 Mbps speed is suitable for everyday tasks, ensuring reliable data transfer. However, for users with higher bandwidth needs, an upgrade to a Gigabit version may be worth considering. While the TP-Link Fast Ethernet Switch meets my current networking requirements, I can't help but wish for a Gigabit option within the same compact design. Despite this, it's a 4-star product that delivers on reliability, simplicity, and value. Recommended for users with moderate networking needs!

Cheap, fast, easy to set up, and reliable. Ethernet is better than wi-fi even Buy one!
It's cheap and does the job very well. Easy to set up and utilize. Speed is good. I use this as a splitter off of my Wi-Fi repeater's ethernet connection to provide connections to my Roku Smart TV and Onkyo Network Surround Receiver, and its stability is much better than that of connecting my devices directly to the Wi-Fi repeater wirelessly.

Awesome.
So I bought this switch because I only had one Ethernet port in my room but had to split that cable into 4 separate cables in order to provide Ethernet to 2 desktops and 2 laptops in my dorm room.Really, I couldn't be any more impressed, it works flawlessly right from the box, it's incredibly cheap for what it is, and it looks great next to all of our other networking stuff. It runs at the maximum speed of the internet we're provided and I haven't had any problems with it since getting it 4 months ago. The box hasn't cut out since I got it and it has worked extremely reliably since getting it. One smart tip for it is to get some double sided tape in order to tape it down as it's quite light and the cables connected to it can move it around, just for the aesthetic of the device.Another thing to consider with this is your internet service provider as I know some of them don't actually allow for switches if you're getting your internet straight from an Ethernet port from the wall rather than a modem providing Ethernet to your house. I had to call out internet provider and get everything sorted out to make it it was all find and working. But after that the switch worked perfectly and I haven't had to touch it since.Of course the previous warning is unnecessary if you have your internet from a jack connected to your modem, because in that case you're in control of your internet and everything.Again, this is just a great switch and it does everything it says in a small perfect little package.
