Just what I needed.
Needed to replace an inferior battery strap buckle, and this one fit my needs exactly. Not only was it more functional than the original, it saved me the hassle of having to cut and restitch the threads on the strap loop. In addition to the convenience, his buckle also allowed me to put a lot more tension on the strap than was possible withe original. Some reviewers commented that they thought it was over priced. However, in my opinion, considering the replacement ease and quality upgrade, I think it is a fair trade off. If in the future, I ever need to replace another buckle, I will definitely use this product.

Well Made Buckle - Got My Range Bag Going Again
I had a range bag and the plastic buckle that came on it simply snapped; one of the press-tabs just broke off. So I looked for an easy-to-install repair option and saw this Sea To Summit buckle.Took off the old buckle and figured I'd try inserting the adjustment strap first to confirm that it would fit. The 1.5" width matched perfectly to the straps. Where I ran into a test of wills was threading the strap into the thinner, upper slot of the bottom half of the buckle assembly. (The strap had the end folded over and sewn so the strap's end was twice as thick as the rest of it).Using a small screwdriver I was able to force a corner of the folded end through the buckle just enough to grabbed it with a pair of pliers. Using a bit of forced pulling & wiggling, I was finally able to pull the strap through and then it easily went through the other slot in the buckle bottom. Just for reference, this strap is heavy duty and the folded/sewn end is just over 1/8" thick, so this may not be an issue for other applications. The upper half of the new buckle (the half w/ the screw) was a snap to install. The buckle is well made and the press tabs are pliant enough not to simply snap off. Now the range bag is set for, hopefully, many years of service.

life saver! This came in very handy when my backpack sinch strap clip came appart.
life saver!! This came in very handy when my backpack sinch strap clip came appart. Very handy. Solid but light. Easy to install into sewn webbing that you don't want to cut. Every outdoor group of hiker/climbers should have one along. Put into the 1st aid kit or tent repair kit.

The right tool for the right job
I needed to fix a buckle on my soft guitar case, and I didn’t want to try and tear out the stitching to put a simple replacement into, only to have to re-stitch.This solves that. I broke the rest of the broken buckle out of the strap, and put this in its place, and it’s all fixed now. Yes, it’s more money than just a replacement buckle, but we’ll worth it.

Great upgrade/fix
The buckle on my motorcycle pants broke and this was the perfect way to upgrade and fix the old style belt loop with Velcro. Now I am able to adjust the waist strap one time and click it on and off.

Great replacement for sewn in loops.
Used it to replace a damaged sewn in buckle on a boat tarp. I thought it was kind of expensive but it certainly did the job.

It looks sturdy but doesn't fit with my 38mm buckle
It looks sturdy but doesn't fit with my 38mm buckle. Too wide so doesn't click and also too narrow so my male bucket can't go in.Both are for 38mm strap but doesn't fit to each other. Maybe not universal size. And it even came a day late so I couldn't actually use it too.
