The people having issues with these did something wrong. Had a 20mm slit in a pool ring. This sealed it right up. The backing would be easier to remove if it was a different color, bothe are clear and it is difficult to separate the backing from the patch. Once you get past that the patch is on and you couldn't get it off if you had to.

This patch repair kit is totally worthless! Do Not waste your money on this.Followed instructions carefully, cleaned repair area, applied patch. Patch doesn't adhere to surface at all, no stickness at all, wasted my money and time with this product.Do not buy or even think about it, total waste of money and time.A one star review is too generous for this product

Does not stay stuck in tube, no matter how well it is cleaned and dried. Even alcohol

The patch did seal the leak quickly and efficiently without the mess of applying glue. The patch goes on easily and seems to work well.The largest problem is trying to remove the clear backing from the clear patch. The clear backing is the same size and difficult to separate until you finally get it to start. Using a slightly oversize colored backing would significantly simplify the use.
