My boots got a little wet, but once I put these on, I didn't take on any more water and my feet felt a little warmer. They serve their purpose well, as long as you put them on. The soles seem a little flimsy but they aren't intended to be used for walking around.

I bought these to go over my shoes while on a motorcycle trip. They worked great for keeping water off my shoes and legs. They were relatively easy to get on and off. They have a "plastic" feel and quality to them is the reason for the 4 stars - they feel like they will rip, so time will tell as far as the durability. They pack super easy and don't take up a lot of space which is great for motorcycle travels. When worn for a longer period of time, I did find that my feet and legs would get hot and start to sweat. But overall, they served me well in the rain on a motorcycle.

The arch area(girth) is too small and doesn’t fit over a hiking boot. It would probably fit around a tennis shoe. Also, based on the size chart it runs small/short

I bought a pair of these a couple months ago. They look weird, kind of like the shoes they wear in DBZ, but I don't care. I didn't buy them to look cool, I bought them to keep my shoes dry. On that note they work as advertised mostly. Have worn them in a downpour of rain and my shoes stay dry mostly. I do notice that after an 8-10 hour day walking 15 miles in the rain when I take the coverings off there is a decent amount of water inside. I think this is a mixture of sweat buildup and water possible getting in through the single small vent on each shoe. Is what is is.Another positive these have going for them is that they cover your lower leg as well as the shoe. So for me, I wear a rain jacket and then just these with no rain paints because I hate being covered head to toe in plastic for 8 to 10 hours. The biggest drawback to these coverings are that I've only had them for a few months and the tread is almost completely gone on both. If you walk a few miles per day these are probably a very good shoe/boot cover for you. But if you're like me and walk 15 miles per day then probably not. I would probably not reorder these for my line of work.

I spent a whole day touring NYC in torrential rain, and my shoes and socks never got wet. The only issue was I wore them with rain pants, and together they made me super hot whenever we were indoors. I would hike the rain pants up and lower the rain boots to give my legs a chance to breathe. They fit over my chunky ankle length boots which was good. The snap on the back strap kept coming off so I just took that strap off. Not sure what it is even for. You want a tight fit over your shoe, so work a little to get it in there if it seems too small at first. Gotta give 5 stars for doing it’s main job - 8 hours in the rain, perfectly dry feet.

I have been riding motorcycles for 50 years now, and have never owned a pair of these before. Soggy wet boots are now a thing of the past. These are very well made and durable. I have a double shift on my motorcycle and rode for two days in the rain last March with no issues. My boots are a size 10 and I ordered XL and they fit perfect. Highly recommended to keep your boots and feet dry.
