For reference I have long, thick hair to the middle of my butt. My hair was completely virgin and I made the mistake of getting a balayage for new years.When I washed my hair for the first time after getting the balayage I instantly regretted my decision. My hair was completely tangled, something that I never struggled with, and when it dried it was so dry and frizzy and gross feeling. After doing some research, I found that I should be using leave in conditioner.So began my long search of leave in conditioners. I tried multiple leave in conditioners, and honestly they did nothing for me. I started believing that leave in conditioners were just a gimmick. I came across a TikTok of a girl swearing by this leave in conditioner, I thought it was way too pricey & I couldn’t justify spending the money, so I kept trying other cheaper brands.Nothing really worked for me, none did what they claimed. Eventually, I finally caved and bought this Amika one with no expectations. I was so very pleasantly surprised! It did everything it claimed.My favorite things are first, the scent. It has such a lovely scent to it and it really sticks to your hair for days. At work people have been asking me what shampoo I use and I put them on to the amika leave in conditioner.Secondly, it does such a great job at detangling my mess of hair. I always brush my hair straight out of the shower (I know thats not good) and the the brush runs so smoothly through my hair and I can genuinely say with minimal damage.You know how when you brush your wet hair you have all that hair that’s broken off in your brush, well, I dare say that I lose less hair with this product.Lastly, and most importantly for me- ever since the balayage my hair has been SO DRY and frizzy. I always let my hair air dry, because I simply just have too much to blow dry. I don’t know what is in this stuff, but now when my hair dries, it’s no longer dry and yucky. It looks silky and smooth. I’m absolutely so obsessed with this product and can honestly say that it is worth the money.The way I use it is after I wash my hair, I part it in 2 sections and spray each section from the middle going downward. I do spray a generous amount and it’s completely tangle free. It doesn’t make my hair greasy or oily, which is huge.I 100% recommend this product to everyone. It’s been magical for me. I love it so much that I was gifted another one for Mother’s Day. Also, I’ve been using this in my nieces curly hair as a detangler and she can finally sit through getting her hair brushed without crying. I love, love this stuff and I’m really excited to try other products from this brand.

The Amika Hydro Rush Intense Moisture Leave-In Conditioner is the only product I've found that makes my hair feel like I just left the salon. I’ve been using this for about 6 months, and I’m on my second bottle. It is so hydrating and leaves my hair soft, shiny, and frizz-free, without weighing it down. I also feel like it helps my hair grow longer by preventing breakage. For the price and quality, it’s an excellent value — highly recommend for anyone with dry or damaged hair!

I have naturally straight hair but when I would use this conditioner in my hair, it would give my hair the perfect beach waves!! It also took away my frizz and would leave my hair so soft! I like that it was super lightweight and wouldn’t make my hair look greasy at all!! And it smells amazing

First it was a here mom try this, now I use it and my hair look silky smooth.

this is a little pricey but it makes my curls curl not frizz so Far it’s still doing a great job reacts again with water so if i start getting frizzy i just spray little water and my curls bounce back so far it’s the best i have used and I tried a lot to keep my curls from looking like I stuck my finger in a socket! this works love it and I never said that about a hair product usaly disappointed this time nope went on auto ship must have no lasting smell easy to use small bottle but it works!!!!

Has really helped to soften my hair and moisturize. Also smells amazing! Not the best for frizz so depending on your curls I would still also use a curl cream, gel, or mousse.

So, I decided to try this product out because I’d seen it on social media a few times where some stylists have used this product line on curly textures similar to my own—both with styling curly and styling straight. I wanted to try out the leave in conditioner to see how it would interact with my hair during my regular “wash and go” routine. I am also a cosmetologist and am constantly looking into products that either clients want to try or recommend. I applied this on to my hair immediately after rinsing my conditioner and on damp hair. First impressions, it smells great however I’m not so sure that in the application it’s more effective than any other basic leave in. I will say that it feels more water based and was very thin. I had to spray A LOT in my first application to really feel as though it was penetrating and moisturizing my strands and suspect I’ll get about two more wash and go styles from this bottle. I do know with professional products, a little can go a long way typically however I’m just not sure this was the case. This product did not make my detangling process any easier. My hair actually felt dryer than what I’m used to when using a leave in. I followed this up with an oil which seemed to soften my curls. In theory, if you are styling your hair—-like getting a silk press or possibly straightening your hair, these products may be beneficial as they are not heavy. If you have fine low density hair, I’d say you may experience more weight on your strands from this product, but barely. This was my review for this specific product, if anything changes, I’ll post an update!
