You may want to invest in a larger Bosch rotary hammer drill designed to use 4" masonry hole bits. This drill is better for smaller pilot holes.

How is the perfomance of the drill for heavy duty drilling, would you recommend?

I used this drill to bore small holes through the concrete walls in my basement using masonry bits. It wasn't exactly like a knife through butter, but it did the job just fine.

how does this drill works on concrete does it gets over heated while drilling on concrete?

I would guess it would depend on how deep. I've used mine to drill about (14) 1/2 inch x 4 inches deep holes into concrete without a problem.
