Is this spongy or dense? I need it to fill a gap and I need it to not compress much when a little pressure is applied.

Hello. It has very little to no compression. I used it to buffer wooden mounts for my heavy bag in my basement, mounting them to the floor joists. As I tighten the screws it comprsses a little but that's with a lot of torque.

New hardwood floors. I have a 55g fish tank & the stand has a gap under it. I change water a lot, & afraid I won't see if water gets underneath, yes?

Rubber is solid but not sure how you intend to use with your 55 gal fish tank. Water can still flow around or through any seams i would think.

I would think this is too thick for bikes tires. It's about 1/8" thick maybe a little more. It's much thicker than bike inner tubing.

Would this be okay for 100 pound batteries in a camper van?

As I write this answer to you my weight set of 310lbs is on top of a Solid sheet of NOBOWAN Rubber (same as your inquiring) protecting my floor, if it can do that I'm more than sure it can take on your battery
