Brother MFC-J460DW Black/Cyan/Magenta/Yellow Original Ink Standard Yield (260 Yield)

It's the brand that works on my printer and it's reasonably priced.

I have the Brother MFC-J480DW printer, scanner,… that uses these cartridges. As long as there’s ink it prints very well. The problem is I don’t need to print much and the printer has a built in cleaning function that “uses a small amount of ink” that runs periodically. By the time I need the printer again, it’s low or out of ink completely just from this function. If I can print 20 average pages it’s a miracle. Apparently you can’t turn off this cleaning cycle and I suspect not letting it happen would cause other problems. I’ve contacted Brother but they’re not overly helpful. I’ve only used Brother cartridges but I doubt any others would be better because the printer is the issue, not the ink.I’ll probably find a new printer as paying for ink I get to use 5% of doesn’t make sense.

At the moment the inks work fine on my MFC-J460DW printer. I only printed one page. If I get problems I will do an update.Por el momento la tinta funciona bien en mi impresora MFC-J460DW. Aunque sólo imprimí una página. Si llego a tener problemas hago una actualización a este review.

Nature of the beast--but I don't like how black/grayscale printing also uses colored ink.I've talked directly to Brother and they said it is true black printing does use colored.
