Beats renting!
Well made, good quality control on the machine and thoughtfully packed in a box with wheels and with extras like gloves, oil bottle, tools needed, instructions for operation, spare brushes, and low quality but functional goggles and dust mask. This is the first demo hammer I have owned, but have rented smaller 11lb ones for $60 per day so this is a good buy at $180 which included 3 chisels. This one is much heavier and bigger than those i rented. It broke up the concrete shower pan I bought it for with no problems. Will be great for driving electrical ground rods (if i buy the right attachment) or attacking hard clay with the black top cutter chisel (which I purchased separately). Could have demo'd the main house slab easy enough with the chisels provided (point, 1" flat, 3" flat).

Great value and works well
I've had this for 6 years and have used it to dig post holes in bedrock, break up concrete, and remove tile floors. It has done everything I've asked. Cheaper than a few days rental of a bigger unit too. I'm happy with it.

Best value you will find
This thing is a beast! I’ve used this for about a year now on small jobs that would last about 1 hr at a time. With this price I paid, I expected it to die by now but it’s still going strong.ProsYou can’t beat the price of this thing especially after you compare to popular brands. This thing is powerful and get the job done. It comes with 3 adapters I believe that can be applied in different scenarios. The product also came with gloves, safety goggles— though they were really cheap was a good add to the package. If you look at the overall cost what can you expect.ConsThis doesn’t lack power but neither does it lack volume. This thing must be punching at 90dbs or so. I’ll admit that I didn’t grab a meter to really test but that goes to say it is really really loud. God earplugs is a must have! The carrying case is just crap. Cheap overall build that feels like it will fall apart (the latches actually do fall apart). The wheels fall apart as well. I’m not an advocate for selling tools with a dust bag but if they’re going to sell it at this price, I rather they swap the cheap case for a dust bag.The weight and vibration will rattle your brain out if you’re not careful. No anti-fatigue grips, no reducing shock technology— no nothing. Just pure muscle. Do not get this product if you plan to use for extensive durations.

It does what I expect
I got this last Friday for help with digging holes for my retaining wall where I'm hitting clay and limestone and my 3 point post hole digger just spins. I bought the clay shovel also and used both on one of the holes and I prefer the shovel over the chisel bit for clay. Both work great and have helped me get down another 18" so I have the right height. The paint is iffy and the clay shovel is a rough cast, but I really don't see this as a negative. It's a jackhammer. It's getting slammed against the side of the holes, leaning against dirt, and generally being used as a jackhammer. I added oil (40w) and hooked it up to my generator(4750 watt) and started working. Never tripped the 20A breaker and was much easier to manage than the 70# one I rented from HD and now I have a jackhammer for $60 more then renting one for a single day.The extra brushes are nice, the included tool for the oil is nice, the allen wrenches are nice, the instructions are just about worthless and look to have been translated from crayon, the instructions for how much oil to add are really strange, and it works great which is the main point.*Update *I bought this in 2018 and today used it again to help a neighbor take out a 10x10 section of asphalt. Still works great. The shovel was a great investment and it helped with my retaining wall holes. Its sun faded, leaks oil, and is missing half of its paint but still works like new. I noticed today after using it for about an hour that it had no oil. I'm not concerned and I'm sure it will work great the next time I need it.

Good value for the price for small jobs
Powerful tool that does a good job. It does leak some oil after working it for about an hour but it's a workhorse for an inexpensive tool.
