These are helpful to keep my keys accessible, but secure during field work. You do need to learn the where to grab and twist to release the magnet, but that has to do with the secure part. An extremely small learning curve to make sure my keys are secure and available one handed is worth it.

The media could not be loaded. This is great. I got frustrated when I had to take my locking carabiner off of my bag just to unlock the door. With this I am able to take it off with one hand and unlock the door, then put it back on my carabiner. So easy and makes life way easier. I’ve never had this “fall off” the magnetic base. I typically have to use a bit of finger strength to get it off and it snaps back pretty quickly when I’m done with it.

It’s very sturdy and the magnet is strong!

This is well made and does a great job staying linked. It is also easy to get apart. But, it is BULKY. As someone who loves to assemble EDC keychains, this is too big around to be a good addition to an in-pockey accessory.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:I was worried about buying this but I'm glad I did!!! I have a pretty heavy key load. This design is brilliant though!!! It not only holds by a strong magnet. The design is curved over. So basically it's held by a magnet and hard plastic. I highly doubt this design will fail!!!! I'd post a picture but I would never post pictures of my keys and you shouldn't either!!!

This is the best quick release I’ve seen. All other spring loaded/ball bearing quick releases have failed on me, but this has lasted for years. Even with gunk in the magnets it holds together perfectly and I’ve never had it come undone accidentally.

I needed a lanyard solution for my phone: strong enough to keep it on my lanyard even if it gets snagged but still an easy quick disconnect. I tried several different clip solutions with varying degrees of success.Then I thought about magnets! I tried a few magnetic quick-disconnect keychains, it none of them were strong enough. I tried a different NiteIze one, and it worked really great! But, it was really big.When I saw this one, I knew I had to get it. It's small enough not to get in the way yet strong enough to hold onto my phone through some pretty strong pulls and snags. It takes a tremendous amount of pulling to get it to disconnect if you don't use the little tabs to twist it. But of you do use those tabs, it comes apart super easy! Even my poor arthritis hands on a bad day can pop it open with ease.Bottom line, if you need a magnetic keychain that will only come apart when you want it to, this is the one you need.
