42x42x24" Our cat had surgery for bladder stones and was prescribed limited activity for 2 weeks. The vet suggested a fabric cat playpen with zippers, so I bought this for him. It is perfect in every way!The size is just right to fit a cat bed, small litter box, and flat water dish, and still leaves room for him to move around. Having 2 doors is very convenient, allowing easy access. Having a zipper on top makes it very easy to reach inside to clean the litter box.I also bought a 2-pack of reusable, washable pee pads, and placed one into the bottom of the playpen, then lined it with disposable pee pads. That makes it easy to keep the pen clean.When I want to give him some time to roam around the house, I roll up the door and attach it to the pen with the velcro patches. He roams in and out at will. When he's sleeping, I zip up both doors and cover the whole thing with a blanket to give him some privacy. He seems to love it.It is sturdy and well made. It easily folds up like an accordion; an elastic band slips over it, then you can slip it into the provided pouch.

Two weeks ago, we adopted two 5-month-old brother kittens. We selected the 36" Elite Field Pet Playpen based on the size, materials (canvas not plastic) used and the other reviews: well-made, lightweight, yet sturdy. The kittens fit with a small litter box and room for water and food. We leave open one playpen hatch-door that leads into the "annex" consisting of the cat carrier with kitty bed (familiar scent) that came home with the kittens. They are able to run around our living room during the day and go back into the playpen at night (we have another older cat and are easing her into life with her new younger brothers). To clean the kitty litter that inevitably gets kicked onto the towel lining the bottom of the playpen, I remove the litter box, feed bowl, etc., bring the lightweight playpen into the kitchen, turn it upside down and shake out the stray litter pellets and sweep them into the waste--easier for me than unzipping the playpen floor--although that would be an alternative. The mesh is able to withstand the kittens clawing, which is very appreciated. Having read other reviews, as a precautionary measure, I wrapped two (2) one- pound weights in their own washcloth and have placed them at opposite points of the floor to keep the playpen stable. I am not sure if this was needed but the playpen has remained stable. Overall, this is a well-designed, safe, well-made product that has worked perfectly for our new family members. Highly recommend.

This pet play pen arrived quickly in a surprisingly flat and light box. "Assembly" is super quick, essentially after removing from the handy carry case, just coax it into final shape and turn upside down to attach and zip on the bottom (we held off on zipping on the mesh top until we place the pen outside when the weather warms up again). The pen is very handsome and certainly sturdy enough for a small animal (pictured dog weighs about 8 pounds). Our dog is light with long legs, and so is a great vertical jumper, but the height of the pen and the nicely turned in top has thus far discouraged even an attempted break-out. We are using as a place for our dog to have access to her toys to keep them off the furniture. She seems to be getting more and more comfortable in the pen with each visit and of course loves having her toys with her. Although the pen has two easy to access zip up doors, the height allows us to lift our dog in and out, which is handy, as we don't want her exiting with the toys through the doors, which we just keep zipped shut. It appears it is light and flexible enough to easily transfer if someone else will be caring for our pet for a few days. Comes with the carrying case, brief but clear assembly instructions, small ground stakes for outdoor use, and handy storage pockets. This was a great purchase.

So this product makes me laugh every time I see the listing, but not because of the product itself. More because of the chaos that ensued after.I bought this as a way to keep our dog contained while my wife and I were at work. When it came in, I put it together (went together easily and beautifully, I might add. Nice quality) and set it in place, then filled it with stuff our dog likes. As far as spaciousness, it's roomy. I got in the thing myself and could lay down comfortably, and our dog is a staffy mix, so certainly not my size. I'm 6'0" tall. We then proceeded to give it a trial run and left our dog inside while we went out for the evening.When we returned, the entire unit, our dog, and EVERYTHING inside, had moved across the house. Not sure why, but our dog had freaked out, somehow got the playpen onto its side, and hamster wheel-style rolled the whole thing around the house. You'll notice I gave the product a 5-star rating on the "maneuverability" because she drove this thing like a stolen race car around our living room and down a long hallway. Lamps were smashed, cords pulled, furniture knocked around, you name it. Utter chaos. In the middle of us walking in and seeing the carnage, there was our little dog, looking up at us and begging to be let out of her rolling prison, which had become hopelessly jammed into the hallway leading to our garage. Needless to say, we did not attempt to use the playpen again, and promptly returned it.NOW, I will say that I don't feel the situation was caused by the playpen itself. As I said, the construction was nice and roomy, the outer pockets were nice, so don't take this as a review against the quality. Just...make sure you weight the thing down if you have a dog with some weight to throw around. Our dog is 40 pounds soaking wet, but she's 100% muscle. We thought it was weighted down enough and we were obviously wrong. Maybe a heavier material for the bottom would be a good idea, I dunno. Needless to say, it was an adventure, and it led me to purchase a nanny cam in case similar shenanigans go down again.

I purchased the small size in this for my puppy (havanese). I love that it has 2 doors (front and back) to go in and out of, is well ventilated and has a zippered floor. It also unfolds and folds up nicely for portability. The pen fits his crate as well as water and a few toys. Even when fully grown he will be able to use it, if needed. Thank you EliteField. This is a well constructed product at a reasonable price

we purchased the previous version of these years ago and have been trying to find them online ever since. The re-released version has several usability and durability improvements in the design (the zipped bottom is the best). We use them as internal crates for our two small-sized dogs and they're great for feeding, sleeping and time-out / calm down time

Awesome spot for the puppy, loves to sleep and hang out inside. Lots of room, easy to move and highly recommend!

Pen is exactly as expected and works well but can be challenging to fold up again - suggest you have a good close look as you unfold it; this might make things a bit easier when folding it up.
